People change their minds after people change. I'd love for options to be added.

I'm perfectly happy to allow people to do what they want to do with regards to the romance. If they want to start the romance in the third episode, fine. If they want to hop from one romance to another in each game, fine. However, if - for the sake of making development easier - they have to 'streamline' some of the dialogue so that it accommodates every possible option THEN I will be upset.

Fair enough, but Casey says they'll be able to track all kinds of things, so the characters will act accordingly. I'm sure you'll see a difference for those that statyed with her throughout the series.

Is Liara rich now that she's the Shadow Broker? Should Shep be expecting a very extravagant gift for her next birthday? Could be a reason for a gold digger Shep to wait until ME3 to start a romance with Liara.

Given how lavish Liara's apartment was, I gotta imagine that she was pretty damn well-off to begin with.

Yes and she seemed to be quite successful as an information broker too, so I'm sure that was lucrative for her.

Anybody else having a hard time waiting for ME3 to be at E3? I am sure Liara will be one of the squadmates in the demo and I am desperate for more Liara info! :pinched:

Argh! Atleast I can have HD!Liara tomorrow.

If she is in the demo, I will probably watch my E3 recording 5 times or so :P

What do you mean? Getting an HDTV or something?

Anyways, well if you really want to see Liara, you might want to sneak into E3. I mean, there's a high chance she'll be in the demo, since she's in the Game Informer images.

Actually, is anyone going to try and be at E3?

@Hyper: I already said I like it in the FemShep thread but it deserves being said again. Excellent wallpaper!

I think a strong reason why I love Liara so much is knowing that she is "female"...Yet, with another female, can have children. Of course there are millions of other reasons, too.
If gays/lesbians had that opportunity, I'm sure none would let it down.

Yes, this has a wonderful appeal to lesbians, I cannot deny. It's the icing on the cake, you could say. If you're so inclined to have children, that is. My Shepard's just glad she doesn't have to carry the child. She's been through immeasurable difficulties throughout her life, fought the biggest threat to the galaxy and even died... and yet the thought of carrying a child within her for months terrifies her. >.>

Yeah, agreed. I find our FemShep to be rather masculin (I mean, being N7 and taking risks all the time..Not really masculin, but you know. She takes on too many tasks.) She just doesn't have time to carry a child around.
She would make a PERFECT "daddy" though. (I really hope the kid, if she does have one, doesn't call her that though. >_>)

I wouldn't go so far as to call Shepard masculine but I know what you're getting at. My canon Shepard's daughter (in my fan fiction anyway) calls her "mommy". There will be no use of "Dad" or "Daddy" for my Shep! :P

FemShep can't even manage to look girly in her dress for long, she walks and sits like a bloke. She can end up flashing Liara (Basic Instinct style) when Liara comes to catch up on the Normandy 2.

I do think its pretty nifty that asari can have kids with a female partner but I'm not sure Shep and Liara would have kids (although Shep suggesting it as a joke was adorable). Liara is a bit young and my current Shep doesn't seem like the type, though she might change her mind once the reaper threat is gone.

Oh, my Shepard wants kids (though she may not realize it yet), and when she has kids, she's having them call her 'dad', for reasons based solely around humor.

I'd love it if Femshep was called Daddy. You wouldn't want to confuse Mommy with Mommy after all when they're in the same room.

Mother, Mom, Mommy, Momma, Mum, Mummy. There's plenty of variations to go around. :P

Who cares about to moms, what about maleshep? I'm a guy, and being a guy is the way to be. Everybody says femshep is the best, and I played one playthrough as a femshep and it felt too weird

Bah. You'd love to be called daddy. You just don't know it yet. Think of it as a culture thing. You're already called a father.

It would be pretty funny to be called dad. I say mam so to me mom sounds odd and mum sounds posh. I think my renegade Shep would fit better into a dad role, teach the kids how to use a shotgun etc (actually she sounds like an awful parent)

Haha, you're probably right that it's a cultural thing. I'm not used to it so it's strange to me.

@Sarcastic: Mum isn't posh. I use that! D: If I'm not using mother, that is. But I had "Mom" in my fan fiction since Shepard is not from the area of the world I'm from. :P

You don't have the problem of being involved in a same sex relationship with maleShep and Liara, do you? That's why we're discussing the mom/mum thing. Your Shepard will have a preconceived notion of gender roles whereas FemSheps are going to have to tread new ground.

And please don't start up a MaleShep vs. FemShep debate. Those never end well.

I honestly tried to run atleast 1 maleshep, have 63 femshep run-throughs (both me1 and 2, and Yes I have no life heh), I just can't handle the voice, (NOT a flame! just personal choice) have 3 I tried but they are lost drifting around space somewhere, doomed to the void.

Maybe I just think mum sounds posh because I'm welsh and mam is the norm for me. I suppose really it depends on the accent saying it. I guess it would be unlikely for Shep or Liara to use mam though.
