The love triangle is going to most interesting.  The playthrough in which I romanced Garrus, Liara and Shepard decided to remain friends instead of lovers.  Wonder if that will still be the case in ME3.  Suppose we will have to wait and see on that.  To be honest, I can't wait to see what happens with my Shepard that romanced Ash then romanced Jack.    That is a fight I want to see.

I'm actually thinking of doing a version of Kaidan vs Garrus just to experience the love triangle with some past characters. Very interested in seeing how that plays out.

I'm very interested in seeing how they handle love triangles, particularly with Liara, since LotSB can leave things VERY vague. I just don't find any of the other romances compelling enough to create a Shepard for them.

For those that never played LOTSB, I can understand and see how everything could lead to a love triangle. But after LOTSB, I kind of don't want characters to be fighting to win Shepard over for the whole game. Because you cheated on them by having sex with Liara behind their backs. Or made a promise with Liara, had sex with her, and yet continue to see so-so? That's just wrong. Shepard should just get dumped at that point.

So, I have one Shepard with Liara and that's that and would make a completely new Shepard if there's a new LI for FemShep that:

1) interests me
2) isn't a dude

It's really more of a curiosity from a logistics standpoint.  I'd be perfectly happy to have one or both jilted lovers storm out or get into a fight with each other (sorry, Jacob, but Liara would kick your ass!)

And I will just hope Liara and Kaidan won't mention ME1 in ME3. ^^
No, cheating on Liara is really not an option for me. I can't stop laughing when I do the Garrus or Jacob romance. And Thane, no that would be really cruel, too much angst, ME3 will be dark enough.
I want one happy romance for the whole trilogie and the other one will be pure drama for my amusment.

At first I thought this was funny but I seriously wouldn't be surprised if, after reaffirming your romance with Liara in Lotsb and you pursue another romance in ME2, Liara will dump you in ME3. I doubt she's the type of person that lets this slide..

I'm curious to see what kind of powers Liara will be using in this demo.

I'm assuming she'll still have Singularity and Warp (those seem to be her signature)...plus a passive.

I think she'll have the same goods as in LOTSB.

I hope she does, I've always found singularity + warp a very satisfying solution to getting rid of a squad of enemies. Along with her personal skill tree to reduce biotic cooldowns she'll be one of the most useful party members in ME3. That is, if they don't change it to make these biotic combo's totally useless. But even in this case, Liara will be in my squad at all times during my first playthrough.

If singularity becomes useful again, that is... Biotics got gimped in ME2.

I think stasis and singularity will be quite useful.
Together with Tali and her Drone + A.I. hacking, I will control the battlefield!

But I think the most fun I had with Liara was with my Adept. Double biotic combos was extremly funny on Hagalaz. Enemy's were flying everywhere.

I honestly hope there's not a deficit of content for those who didn't have a love interest in Mass Effect 1 and 2. Love triangles may be interesting or appealing to some people, but not me.

if i wanted a love triangle id watch ANY anime series.....kinda burned out on that stuff.

True...I think my Shepard will end up as an Adept in ME3.

Good choice, my adept actually did better than my soldier in that part of the arrival dlc where you face those 5 waves of soldiers...Not sure what to make of that yet.

Well, with my adapt I relied heavily on singularity + warp or Pull + warp, using tempest/locust and squaddies with overload to get rid of those annoying shields against which adepts have no effective powers. Of course you can remove this defect by taking Tali's bonus power

That would be killer if they did that.  Yea, they do owe the VS fans that, but too bad I'm  not one of them.
