'Tis the nature of the beast. Unless Mac Walters made the decision to include Sheploo and a default set of choices.

It's the biggest limitation of crossing the media boundary.  A game where choice is the ultimate weapon, where the story is told based on the person playing it, and they try and shoehorn it into a static 4-chapter comic.

If you did not learn the truth from Liara about the events of Redemption. Shepard will ask who Feron  is when you activate LOTSB mission. She will then explain that she handed your corpse over to Cerberus. Pick a certain response to that and Liara will respond "Cerberus knew about you and I".

I must never pick the response because I've never heard that. Considering that I role play the affair is private that would have caught me off-guard.

Afraid you can't. Even Kasumi knows about it, and as TIM says, information is his weapon, and Cerberus is competition to the Shadow Broker. TIM even says in the comic that he's heard you are Liara were close. And Liara says the response. So it's canon.

Guys I just read a dev-twit saying sth about C.Hudson doing a demo of Liara...

Does anybody know if it is public / where to watch it?

As far as TIM saying we are close, he also said that to my Shepard who didn't romance her. All of my Shepards are close to Liara ... and Tali, Garrus, VS, Wrex, etc. So that never seemed to be out of line, yes my Sheaprd is close to her crew from ME1. 

Liara has never said that response to my Shepard therefore it doesn't exist. If that were the case then all dialogue applies and I am both with and not with Liara since I had options to choose her or not choose her.

TIM seems to think that I am hooked up with Kaiden by the way he talks to me after Horizon, and I let him think that.  "How I love that man of mine!"

As far as the picture, my Shepard uploaded the pic and she only appears when Shepard gets close to it (thanks Tali) so I think I can still role play that the relationship is private. 

I'm sure that all bets are off when ME3 starts though, we'll see.

I understood that it was a demo "to" Liara, which I took to mean he was showing Ali Hillis the demo.  I could be wrong, though, I'm getting this information second-hand.

Considering she's got all of the Shadow Broker's resources at her command, and several of  her agents (probably) also infiltrated the alliance, I think she'd know before Shepard even came to tell her. As for the 'you killed 300.000 batarians'. I'd say good riddance.They're just batarians, nobody cares about them.. and when Shepard says it was the only way I think Liara will believe him without much fuss over it, Liara isn't exactly 100% paragon post-lotsb.

One thing I feel no one has commented is how well done (in my opinion) the Cinematography (I think that is the right word) in certain parts of LOTSB is.

I am thinking of the paragon interupts after the fight Vasir. Almost all the time the camera zooms in on Liara when she talks. Showing how Shepard is breaking down her emotional barrier and confronts her on an personal level.

Another good part is when the camera zooms out during the first interupt when Liara talks about that she is still laning on Shepard for help. Showing how she tries to distance herself again from Shepard but also the desire of not being reliant on help.

Anyone else feel like this?

Camera movement I agree with you Lizard. The editing through some of the dialogue felt a little jittery but during the action scenes I thought the range of the camera was quite well done.

I did not really feel that certain parts of LOTSB was worse than ME2. So what parts did you feel that was "jittery"?

Around the 5min mark I would have preferred a gentle pan rather than the cutting. Pans though take much more time to do than cuts. After playing this section so many time the cuts started to creep into my consciousness when playing. Considering it took about 8 or maybe more playthroughs I'm being a little harsh but it's just an observation.

Ehh. A pan would take too long. I think cutting goes just fine.

The cuts don't really bother me personally but I can see the point you're making. Never really noticed that before. Mass Effect as a series uses cuts like nobody's business when you really think about it.

I also concur with your observations Lizard. ME3 will be a thrilling experience if LotSB is anything to go by. : )

I wonder if Liara has any more family left? Benezia was a Matriarch, it's possible she could have had other children before Liara. Although it would be odd if Liara never mentioned them. Unless she saw them even less than she did her mother. Which would make sense, since they would most likely be in the Matron stage themselves when Liara was born.

But even if she doesn't have siblings, that still leaves aunts and cousins. I doubt that the entire T'soni house simply up and vanished when Benezia died.
