Seriously, though, I gotta imagine anyone paired with an asari would feel a twinge of "I don't want to leave you alone" guilt for being the first to pass on at some point in their life. But culturually I believe the asari have ways of addressing this with their bondmates, given that they've been dealing with it for thousands of years.

I'm still going with "they have the technology to bring a dead human back to life as good as new, and the codex says human life expectancy is going to skyrocket - therefore Shep is going to live 800 years."

my Shepards take a "I only live once, I can't worry about what will happen when I'm dead. I'm going to live this life for the fullest" mentality. But he of course feels somewhat bad that Liara may have a hard time getting over him after he dies. She's strong though.

And maybe being part-machine could extend Shepards life? And Liara has the best connections, she could make sure Shepard's insides were running at full capacity/have the latest tech.

The codex says that? I didn't know. very interesting. My optimistic, over-thinking mind will have a field day with this.

I'm sure that pre-ME2 Shepard would have reached the top of the life expectancy curve (which according to the codex is ~150 years or so). I would venture a guess and say that all the work Miranda and the Lazarus cell put in to resurrecting Shepard would probably increase her capacity for healing, and therefore add an additional 40-50% life expectancy easily. I mean, Miranda expects to live ~50% longer than the average human due to her genetic tailoring. I gotta imagine Shepard could easily meet that.

Its just what Liara says to a femshep if they've romanced Thane, "Its not about how much time you have. It's what you do with it." I'm sure the Lazarus Project has greatly extended Shep's lifespan as well.

My Shep would feel some of the guilt of leaving her one day but in his mind he knows their time together will be special.
