ok...erm...so i decided to give Liara a chance in ME1 and after...i was thinking u might have some tips on how to play with her as a squadmate and who she goes with best.

no need for help on romance..fortunately they are easy to figure out..

I'm a big fan of the look on her face while Shepard's nuzzling her neck at the end of LotSB, saying that "coming back" every time is gonna require something special in return.

Yeah, a better pic would be nice.  However, I already modded the ME2 pic to another so I don't much care XD

Some think Wrex is a good counter, since you have someone who's rude and bloody mixed with the complete opposite.

Depends on your class and if you want to be able to open crates.

Garrus is a nice balance with Liara for any class as he brings some combat and tech skills. 

Also, Kaidan is good if you want to have a very powerful biotic squad, especially if you are an adept or Sentinel yourself.

I prefer Ash or Wrex with an Engineer, as both are quite durable.

Singularity is her best weapon.  It's great for crowd control.  I also make sure she eventually gets her Electronics skill up, as that improves her shields, and Overload is quite useful.  I avoid putting any points in Stasis, as that's useless for squad mates.

        aha..thanks...i play mostly soldiers..but i like how a Liara-Garrus or Liara-Wrex combination sounds...will give it a try

Well, as a Soldier, have Liara cast Singularity and Garrus can cast his Dampening/Overload/Sabatoge into the crowd, then you can shoot them (and Garrus with his AR).

Wrex is just OP no matter what.

Also, Liara's Lift and Throw work wonders for enemies that get close, like krogan. 

I also equip Liara with a shotgun plus Explosive ammo for fun.

Just turn on squad power usage and let Liara do her thing.   Then you don't have to micro-manage her.  She's not as good in pure combat as others, like Ashley.

Liara can handle herself. Just give her a pistol, set her to auto, and watch bad guys fly.

It is easy...which is why Liara is an awesome squad mate.

I can't believe I went most of the game trying to maximize the "combat" bar for my squad in ME1...

It is easy...which is why Liara is an awesome squad mate.

    well...does that mean that every char who can lift enemies is awesome...like Jacob ?

        must say..i liked the action scenes with Liara in LOTSB...as before i always thought she was just the typical nerd...
   then again..i never used her as an active squadmate...just for information...wich aparently worked for her as she became an information broker and then THE SB
