However, my perception of Liara's cameo from an in-universe perspective did not hit me as hard as it did for others, as I was aware of the "I couldn't let you go" dialogue path beforehand. Almost immediately, I began analysing Liara's character development, and started to develop my own theories and interpretations in order to understand things a little better.

Yeah, but you are still lookig at that from your perspective. I meant from Shepard's perspective, it was pretty rough.

I take the paragon choices at the beginning of ME2 for two reasons. 1. I don't like being mean to Liara. 2. The paragon choice results in Liara being knocked into Shepard's arms, the renegade choice has her knocked away from Shepard. I want Liara in my femShep's arms one last time.

I agree; I'd love to celebrate asari holidays. I do feel like I'd enjoy assimilating into their culture...jlb524 wrote...
I agree. I like the idea of Liara adapting somewhat to human culture and Shepard adapting to her culture as well. I don't know what type of holidays the asari have or what they celebrate, but it would be interesting to as Liara about it and celebrate them with her XD

Liara strikes me as someone who would find joy in providing gifts to others. Trying to find a gift that is perfectly in tune with someone else's needs, especially if the person didn't even realize they needed it, just strikes me as a very archeological thing to do.
