Indeed (assuming high class asari society is like the Western high class human ones) they would be very competitive and look to knock others down whenever possible.  The pureblood thing would be an easy thing to use against Liara.

I figure that Liara will be set up as the shadow broker (quest giver) to start ME3, but, coming into the cross hairs of the enemy pretty darn quick. Enemy being the Reapers or even a p!ssed off TIM. That shadow broker ship is just a sitting duck for those who know where it's at. I could see Liara (and Feron too, I guess) needing to make the Normandy a temporary base of operations, at least until they can get set up in one of the other SB bases.

Something I wondered about, what hobbies would you guess that Liara would do in her spare time? I mean what would fit her personality outside of researching lost cultures?

Do you think Taz, from Redemption will be working for Liara? Because I'd like Bioware to bring him in the games. I think it'd be neat if he tried to dethrone her.

Not only that but she's totally the type to tell the professor that his information is flawed and school him on what the real facts are.  Then she'd get all embarrassed and apologize.

Yeah, indeed.  I also imagine the other students would get annoyed with her for holding up class and being the cause of it always going at least 5 minutes late.

Yeah, he would have no idea leadership changed hands.  I don't know if he ever met the old Shadow Broker or not...probably not as most agents/mercs don't, even the elites.  He probably wouldn't care if the position changed hands, as long as he was still being paid the same.

I never saw Tazzik to be more than a generic mercenary whom they used to fill a certain gap in Redemption. I was surprised to see many seemed to expect him to make an appearance in LOTSB. Feron was the only Redemption character that I knew was important, and look how that turned out. I wasn't even surprised to see him in LOTSB because I was almost certain I would.

So how should Liara's first apperance be in ME3?

If the "Shepard is a convicct" theory is how ME3 starts should Liara be seen going all guns blazing to rescue Shepard. Perhaps leading her own squad of asari commandos.

Or perhaps it would be over some sort of long distance communication ala first meeting with TIM. Maybe we should meet her in person on Halgalaz.
