I haven't played a sports game since PlayMaker Football. We had a pretty nifty league going on CompuServe back in the day. I keep meaning to try one of the sports management sims, but I never get around to it.

I think he died for EA Canada's sins.  And then they joined him.

/was always going to buy NBA 2k11 anyway

If you try Football Manager 2011, shoot me a PM.  Love that series.

Thanks to No One Lives Forever, whenever I read this line I hear it in a German accent.

Corona/San Miguel for life!!  Also Kirin..

Anyone else remember Michael Jackson -- the beer expert, not the pedophile -- calling Corona "the worst beer in the world" on Conan's show?

The only thing more subjective than beer preference is music. In fact if you go to beer forums it's about the most overblown and vitriolic bunch of people I've ever had the displeasure of reading.  I mean it's beer, are people really that passionate about it?  And if they are, maybe there's a problem a brewing (see what I did there?)

But back on topic.. more complaining!! More I say!

People can get passionate over anything. I can't think of many forum communities that lack passionate posters who will argue over the silliest thing. You can't really say beer is more subjective than music which is more subjective than the merits of which version of Stormtrooper armour is more accurate which is more subjective than which Harry Potter novel was the best than.. well, I think most of the things people can possibly get passionate about are subject to being subjective.

First, between ME and ME2 there were three years. ME2 was released just after EA bought out Bioware.

EA bought Bio in October 2007. That's before ME1 was released, not 2.

Make that two errors, since the time between ME1 and ME2's release is two years and two months, not three years.

ME was released in Nov of '07. ME2 was released in Jan of '10. EA bought Bioware and Pandemic in '08.

Oh I agree, I was joking:P

I was just saying that if you want the most ridiculous and dare I say idiotic community, then look no further than beer aficionados.  I mean I thought wine connoisseurs were snobby, times them by 3 and add a bunch of cursing/racism and you have the beer heads, at least from my limited experience delving into forums and reviews about the subject..

I don't know.. I think some of the costuming communities I used to frequent would give the beer fanatics a run for their money on the ridiculus scale.

In my exprience, "beer heads" are generally pretty laid back. But there are always exceptions to the rules.

Beer sucks(wine and hard liquor all the way), Broken social Scene>all, who cares about stormtrooper armour?, and book three is obviously the best.

All of these opinions are obvious facts that can't be disputed

One wonders why many don't drink yak ****** then. It is, after all, free to those who own a yak.

I like it all. Had scotch whiskey earlier this evening. My personal preference is for bourbon whiskey, or as I call it, America's greatest contribution to alcohol.

I disagree, Yak ****** is far more acidic, plus it doesn't have much head and is extremely hopy.. I prefer beer still..

Determined drinkers will happily drink meths, wenches don't serve that either so I doubt your reasoning. As to the alcoholic qualities of yak ******, there is potential in a malted barley and hops based diet.

I'm no beer snob, but this is patently wrong.

Even out of Micro brews, Sam Adams Summer Ale is delicious.

I am a big fan of scotch.  Good stuff.  Wine is defintiley my favorite though since I can drink that frequently.  I cant say the same for scotch or other hard liquor.
