DAMN! THe very description of the ME3 on EAs store is a damn spoiler.
PLEASE Bioware! NO SPOILERS! I want to watch trailers and stuff- BUT I want to enjoy the game- I cant do that if u spoil the damn plot. Even knowing the premise is, arguably, too much

I am sometimes seriously confused by what you people consider spoilers. But then I don't get my undies in a twist over "spoilers" anyways.

It's still rather disappointing. I like surprises, especially when it comes to the very PREMISE of ME3, Bioware, EA, please pay attention. :P

I want to know nothing about the main plot that does not occur within the first 25% of the game. Possible epilogue scenarios are acceptable if they do not give information about the final battle. Also, side missions designed around a twist should not even be mentioned as existing. That is all.

Haha not only did Bioware spoil the second game for us by telling us about the final mission and what it partially entailed, and that the Collecters were harvesting humans BEFORE the game came out....but The Illusive Man, with a record 5 minutes into the game, pretty much told us the ENTIRE plot of the game....he told us what the Collecters were doing, what we needed to do, WHO we needed, and the hopeful end result (duh, more like obvious result), and that the Reapers were behind it....I mean, c'mon Bioware...you never said anything about having to fight on teh Citadel and Defeat a boss for the first Mass Effect!

What happened to ONLY revealing 1% of the game before it hit shelves?????

Those marketing idiots at EA/Bioware are really starting to tick off a lot of people, myself included.

This has got my full support.

During the ME2 marketing we were told that all the things being revealed weren't really a big deal, but upon playing the full game nothing really surprised me much or had much of an impact. Now this could be partly due to the fact that I thought the main storyline of ME2 was a lot worse than that of the original, but I think the marketing also played a large role. I would imagine the destruction of the Normandy and Shepard getting killed would have been rather impactful if I hadn't seen the scene played out over and over again in all of their marketing material.

And while some of the blame lies on me for frequenting the forums, it was pretty much impossible to avoid a lot of the marketing since it was literally all over the web.

Hopefully they'll exercise a little more self restraint this time.

I wonder if their going to do another Sci vs fi thing for me3 like they did for Me2? I don't think there were to many spoilers within it. But I agree I only want to know enough information to give me goosebumps. But I kind have a solution to this because I'me leaving for the Airforce soon so hopefully they will keep me busy enough so I can't spoil anything for myself. But the Epic ME2 trailer with the song called hearts of courage was perfect for me. I do not feel it spoiled to much of the game.  But man I wonder how cerberus daily news is going to handle this?

But quick question what was the red herring from the clues posted ? I mean I would lmao if they didn't say a single thing about ME3 and were just like  "There thats for complaining about our work so much, we got your hopes up and crushed them soundly haha" I mean can you imagine the nerd rage that they would unleash?

I thought it was a bit weird how they revealed minor spoilers in their marketing campaign, yet 90 % of what you did in the game was basically filler.

Watch the premier trailer only; all you have to do then is avoid any ME related media. I know it will be hard, but thats the only way to really prevent spoilers.

In the premire trailer tthere was a spoiler. And at E3 you saw the Normandy getting blown up. How much more awesome would that have been had you not known it was coming?

I can atest I didn't know that was coming and It surprised the hell out of me. It was much better that way.

I agree with those who'd like less spoilers in ME3's marketing. BioWare, you guys know we wont be able to resist if you offer us spoilers in the trailers...

Its going to be real hard for them not to put spoilers in the trailers. The issue being that the plot missions get an extra level of gloss applied. They get more, longer cinematics and are more likely going to have big things happen in them. Its hard to make a cinematic based trailer without taking scenes from the plot missions.

That said, please, at least no Act 3 Spoilers!
