Don't shoot any of the enemies, and drive in a straight line to the conduit. You'll make it every time.

I can't make it.....
I've drived in a straight line in the middle of the tunnel without shootting or turning, but i take almost 25 secs to jump in to the river with MK5...
Is this timming normal?
From which side of the tunnel you guys drive?
Help.....

What side of the tunnel...?
There's only one way to go at this point, straight ahead, and you're actually kind of heading out of the tunnel.

Do you think you could upload a video of what you're doing?

Are you playing on the computer and having lag issues?
Otherwise, just driving the mako forward, no fighting, is almost always enough. Just boost onto the embankments rather than follow the stream, and don't mind the tanks. You should always end up with a 'last five seconds' sort of feel.

how can i do that?
I'm just a 5 seconds from the conduit.
Now i can already jump to the river at 20th second, but after that i loose too much time by putting the Mako straight.
I should enter with Mako in the conduit or i have to get out of him?

What are the specs of your PC?
I think it's hardware lag. There's no way someone should have problems reaching the Conduit without shooting anything. I stopped to kill everything and still made it.

Pentium Dual Core T4300 @2.10 GHZ
Video Card is a Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset with 4 GB shared with the CPU.
Can anyone pass this stage for me? I send the last save and then i'll load game after this stage....
THKS!

You don't have to jump in the Mako at all. You just DRIVE AS FAST AS YOU CAN.
Why do you want somebody to beat the level for you? Just do it yourself and you will feel more satisfied. You would even miss some cool cut scenes and everything.
This is a video on how to do it, the run starts at 1:04

try lowering the graphic setting to its minimum.

Some people have had decent luck by also pointing the gun up into the air(this reduces the number of objects that need to be rendered)

It is a known issue that a sub-par graphics card will not render fast enough to allow this scene to be played as it should. People early on, learned to lower all graphics to the bare minimum to let low end computers complete this area. Since this is a mobile chipset card, it shouldn't be considered up to specs. I have also heard some people say looking up or down so the card doesn't have to render as much makes a difference in how the timer runs as well, so you might also try the zoom function to a distant location to see if it works out.

I just floor it and head straight to the Conduit. Make it with several seconds to spare and pretty much no shields.
So be sure your shields are fully charged before triggering that cutscene.

Your hardware seems good enough. Maybe too dusty on the inside? Or maybe your MS Windows need reinstalling? Seriously, Windows need reinstallation every half a year.
Otherwise, switch off your PC, let it cool for a few minutes, then switch it on, start ME and drive for the Conduit immediately.

Hardware isnt good enough. Intel graphics just dont cut the mustard.
You -may- have success as other people mentioned by lowering the graphic settings to absolute minimum, but basically, if you didnt read the system requirements prior to purchasing, theres not much we can do to help.

If all else fails you might be able to get there by using the dev console. With a combination of the teleport command and spawn vehicle. See the wiki for help activating the console. http://masseffect.wi.../wiki/PC_Cheats

It's a straight run in. You'll get to that long ramp thing, and get a little cutscene. Soon as the cutscene is over just floor it and go in a straight line down the ramp to the conduit. Nothing complicated. Should be able to get there with 10-15 secs left. Ignore the geth, they will tear your shields up but won't kill you.
If it's stuttering or hardware lag that's getting you, you may have to optimize your compy by closing down unused processes, etc.

This is the easiest thing to do in ME1. Simply floor it and jump over anything bumps or crap, i did that and had 16 seconds to spare, and the first time i did, I had 20 seconds to spare.

You may also try looking either up or down(i can't remember) and/or use the cannon zoom to look into the distance so your graphics card doesn't have to render much allowing you to play faster. The usual issue is the graphics card can't render fast enough and the timer is run by the cpu, so you don't make it because your graphics card is lagging behind too much.
