It's not a perfect comparison, no. Though in this context responsiveness would be what, in DA:O moving your hand slowly to move a piece, whereas in DA2 you're moving it quickly?

Maybe you would move the piece with WASD and press a button to have the knight cut off their head, rather than pressing the button to make the knight perform the move + cutting off of head action.

FaceFX and facial expressions are one of the last things we add, because of the possibility that something will change and then we'll have to spend twenty minutes grumbling and cursing as we adjust the 'angry' emotion just so in order for it to look okay.

but creating angry emotions when you are angry your self will only make it more authentic ;)

Actually I watched this again today, there are some footage for PC gameplay. Though there is no top view, the game on PC still feels quite tactical

i'd say around december 20th is the time for the info flood, if only because that's when the embargo lifts and the press previews of their experience with the nearly finished full game are supposed to be released.

I also need to see a gameplay video (more than 10 seconds) of the PC version of the game, otherwise i will cancel my pre-order and wait until i know for sure how the game actually is.

Bioware should also release a demo (playable, not a character creator) to let people play a bit at least the first one or two fights, before any big spoilers happen, and allow people to see how their PCs handle the game.

I never understand why they make interviews like these that tells the potential customer very little about the actual game they are going to buy, i am not saying it is not interesting to hear what the devs have to say, but what potential customers want are some kind of proof to know how it is the game they are going to buy, some decent gameplay footage or a demo would go a long way to clear doubts.

Same reason they do cinematic trailers or post desktop backgrounds. While some people will be persuaded more by information, advertising is more about interest.

I support what you have said.  Although I preordered, I still have no idea if my PC can handle this game...it would be very sad if it couldn't, because the game is quite expensive in my country, for average person like me at least
