He's just trying to think of England, or baseball, or Margaret Thatcher on a cold day.
There's a bunch of other things I could speculate about with this video, but the fangirl part of my brain takes over so all I can manage is SQUUEEEEE NICK BOULTON.

Hopefully it'll be reet, in the larger picture but mm. The rest is fine though.

(player selects "I can help you")
Hawke: "I'll do what I can, but first we have to get out of here."
Isabella: "Agreed, follow me - I know the way"
*conversation ends*
But that's just a guess.

The last one of Aveline impaling her arm with her sword is my favorite.

@Shepard regarding your observations on page 2. I think that guy stood near the back is wielding a bow not a dagger. Though that is just going from the picture, don't know what it looks like in video. Besides it would make sense if Izzy is our dagger wielding rogue that we have a bow wielding one too (knows probably will get flack for that comment). Course that is also of the assumption of all the people in that scene being squad members (again perhaps it shows this more in the video, I can't see yet hehe)

The one thing that left me all O_o about this vid are the facial animations. They looked pretty bland. Have they even been polished? I mean, I doubt BW would switch the focus of the game to "cinematic" if they knew the engine couldn't handle a proper smirk or rage face or what have you.
i have to agree on that,
as an analogy
it seems it's turn based conversations instead of real time conversations
when one talks the others stare

I want the "Silence wench" one.
Edit: In every conversation, even when it doesn't make sense.

Yes, i think it's like Mr.Gaider mentioned, an icon that marks "you get/accept quest and the conversation ends here".Upsettingshorts wrote...
I'm thinking the three arrows icon might mean it's an action that ends the conversation? Like:
(player selects "I can help you")
Hawke: "I'll do what I can, but first we have to get out of here."
Isabella: "Agreed, follow me - I know the way"
*conversation ends*
But that's just a guess.

Hmm... Hawke's voice is a bit too ... English somehow
He is a Fereldan. And the accent doesn't even seem that heavy. It suits him quite well IMO.

Yep- I don't care for player VO and I didn't mind the Warden not having many facial expressions in Origins. BUt if you're going the ME cinematic route and yet Hawke stares absent mindedly in space while a scantily clad lady with boobs bursting out of her shirt propositions you for a happy fun time....yeah. Its like its either DERP Carver face or Buggy eye Cassandra face or zombie stare Hawke face.
Here is to hoping thats a major WIP.

Is it just me or does something seem off about Hawke's proportions in the scene he's talking to Isabella. His neck is too long, or his head is too small. I can't quite put my finger on it...
I'm not being sarcastic: It's the beard. It's big and hairy and sticks out of his chin at a sharp angle. It makes his head look gigantic. Normally we see him in his Champion armor, so it's not an issue. But out of it, the beard looks silly.

The beard does certainly look off in that armor.
It's a shame, as I liked the beard in previous screenshots.

They look better than Origins to me. That game had pretty forgettable looking armor.
