mouse pointer spotted on the dialogue wheel image...so we know that even pc version has bad armor textures

Ugh...you're right. Thats the PC version. Hmmm.. I thought there going to be number keys for the dialogue choices? Probably an older build? But I do hope those textures get fixed up as they're mighty muddy.

I'm thinking the three arrows icon might mean it's an action that ends the conversation? Like:

(player selects "I can help you")
Hawke: "I'll do what I can, but first we have to get out of here."
Isabella: "Agreed, follow me - I know the way"
*conversation ends*

But that's just a guess.

It's a choice icon. It indicates you're making a decision, rather than selecting a tone.

Is it just me or does something seem off about Hawke's proportions in the scene he's talking to Isabella. His neck is too long, or his head is too small. I can't quite put my finger on it...

I'm not being sarcastic: It's the beard. It's big and hairy and sticks out of his chin at a sharp angle. It makes his head look gigantic. Normally we see him in his Champion armor, so it's not an issue. But out of it, the beard looks silly.

I actually think his head is bit too small overall for his body in that shot, even with the heroic proportions thing going.

"that's what she said"

ahem. The beard likely does play a part in that too, since it covers part of the skin and makes the rest seem smaller than it really is, on such dark background.

good thing we can make our own hawke then, i like the default design but i'll make a few tweaks on his proportions

True. I'm hoping for a big selection of beards!

Thanks for clearing that up!  Thought it was something like that.

Will this dialogue remain neutral amongst all Hawkes or change depending on tone?

so the "branching paths" icons equals an action choice

skin tone and consitency are bad too. Thet remind me of the difference between skin in pc dao and console dao.
Now we have that crappy plastic skin even on pc. Tanks Bioware for this console port

Supposedly the exact tone of the "action line" like that is determined by dominant personality Hawke has going at the moment.

Hawke's voice sounds just fine to me.

After Isabela's comment, I saw something in Hawke's face - like he's thinking dirty thoughts but barely showing it...

FaceFX and facial expressions are one of the last things we add, because of the possibility that something will change and then we'll have to spend twenty minutes grumbling and cursing as we adjust the 'angry' emotion just so in order for it to look okay.

So the Hawke blank stare of doom will be out of the finished game? Or at least not as prominent?

Well it seems like we see all the companions at 3:24 to 3:25, so they are from right to left:

1. Aveline [confirmed] / Carver
2. Anders [90% based on visual]
3. Bethany [semi-confirmed]
4. Isabella [confirmed]
-- Some mysterious guy is walking, only half his face is shown [possible human male companion?]
5. Varric [confirmed]
6. Mystery Gunther [is that a male or a female elf?]
