I see the already-confirmed party members plus MEG--plus what looks like 2 "guard" npc's and a "human noble" that might be the Viscount of Kirkwall.

I wanna know NOW!!!
Can I at least have a cookie?
You sure a cookie would do the trick? Instant gratification strikes me as taking too long, for some.

Am I hallucinating or does walking probable guard guy have his sword at his side rather than in his back? 'Cause that would be awesome.
Looks like a bow to me.

Perhaps this is a foolish question, but what's wrong with just going ahead and revealing who is and isn't a party member? I'm sure puppies won't drown based on whether or not this information is released. I don't see much need for such secrecy.
spoilers? one might die early on, like mhairi

I initially read that as, "One might die from having too many spoilers early on."

If one of them dies, we'll find out ourselves. Merely revealing the characters though doesn't present any harmnightcobra8928 wrote...

Because us rabid fans who thirst for the informaiton would get bored, and the hub-bub would die down.

I hope not. We already have one revealing companion in Isabela, to the point of wearing no pants. She got that "revealing" part covered. And that's about all she's going to cover, I suppose.Possible reveal of all companions
Anyway, yuck aside, I wouldn't expect a forced choice between Aveline and Carver. Both are warriors, apparently. And even if Aveline were a potential love interest, a "your brother or your future lover" would be hard to pull off. That kind of thing usually ends up lame.
By the way, what's with Anders standing there? Heh, Anders running to Kirkwall, now that would be a hoot.

So you mean spoil the actual details of the plot rather than simply who we meet and their backgrounds. A curious desire.

You use the word rather, when I included character details as something to reveal over the next few months. As for plot details, I don't see a problem with simply informing us as to areas Hawke would be visiting and loosely why. Obviously, mentioning the events which shall actually transpire is a no-no.Liana Nighthawk wrote...

Marketing 101. Revealing your entire bag of tricks months before the game is released is a sure fire way to cause people to slowly lose interest and stop discussing it before the inevitable release. By portioning out the information you want them to know, on a need to know basis, you keep the audience's interest peeked up until the game finally hits the stores. Causing them tobe left salivating over every little detail you give the end.Perfect-Kenshin wrote...

I think one of the developers mentioned that each silohuette represents an important person in Hawke's story. Important does not always mean companion worthy however, so it's probably safe to say that a good number of them are little more than NPC's who play a large role in the story.namedforthemoon wrote...
Are all the silohuettes in the dragon's wings for the DA2 splash screen companions?
