I have scripted a potion that, when used, restores the PC spells to memory.
I use the function ForceRest().
This causes the potion user to gain the benefits of having rested without having to rest. The problem is that it will also restore your hitpoints. I circumvented this by calculating how much damage the user currently has and then applying as an effect after the rest. It works, but there is one problem...
When the damage is applied, there is a message from the server that states "someone damaged PC for x hitpoints of magical damage". (I chose magical damage as the damage type). Is there a way to prevent the message from being displayed?

It doesn't look like it to me, sadly.

Me neither. Any ideas for a work around? I was thinking about a message somewhere that said to ignore the damage. Maybe a note in the release paperwork?

I think players would probably understand what you're trying to do in game. That said, including something in your release documents couldn't hurt.
I can't think of a way you could work around it.
