Unless of course we get Dog back to lick it off. Then, well, still probably *signed.*

Please.

Or at least something that gets it off their faces.

There was a bloodspatter toggle in Origins, so I don't see why it won't be in DA2.

Since it was already in Origins, they'll probably keep it. Although it'll be amusing if it borks up the nutella-painting scene.

There was?  Oh, for a minute there my kitten senses were tingling.

Never! attempting to toggle it off will only increase the blood splatter, eventually become a gooey purple rain that covers the screen with every button click! Arrows will explode on impact! Cuts ooze for hours leaving red slug-trails in their path!

Just kidding, I want a toggle, too!

You can't have Dark Fantasy without egregious amounts of blood spattered all over the place. It would be like playing chess with your friends. Depending on your friends, I guess, and how competitive those chess matches are.

I wouldn't mind if they had a toggle that simply lowered the amount of blood splatter or kept it off the face mostly. Mods do that quite well with Origins.

She just looks so happy for someone who wandered in the path of an exploding goat. It's a bit worrisome.

I wonder if there will be ultra-gore mode where after a fight, you have entrails and giblets stuck to your body.

Varric: "What is this, rains of blood? Did someone start the End of Days early or what?"

Hawke: "No, it's just that damn Player clicking the stupid button 4000 times. What a jerk."

Varric: "Hey you! NO YOU, WITH THE MOUSE!!! DON'T THINK I CAN'T SEE YOU OUT THERE!!! DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH IT COSTS TO HAVE THIS JACKET CLEANED?!?! I AM SO TAKING IT OUT OF THE PARTY GOLD!!!!"

Player: "I need that money to buy the stupidly overpowered sword!"

Varric: "THEN STOP WITH THE CLICKING ALREADY!!!!"

No toggle please. It's pretty unrealistic for two grown men and a dog to kill a couple of rats and not come out of the exchange practically bathed in blood.

Hush, nobody forces you to use a toggle.

More and more Izzie reminds me of the Jakita Wagner character from the Planetary series of books. That's a very good thing. Also, Izzie smothered in the blood of the vanquished is a bit of a turn on. Toggle remains on.

I like gore, but why do people in DA never wash after a fight?

If you're killing them with a *weed-whacker*, maybe, but I've cut up actual human beings with a *bandsaw* and they didn't spray THAT much.

That's because rats are like a tardis inside. For every pound of rat, you have at least three gallons of blood.

And you guys thought the 'psycho' bit was just for laughs.

I don't think she'd use the blood spray of dead bodies as evidence that live one's don't spray blood.

Eh, I was poking fun at the initial part of the Human Noble Origin where you, that ginger head guy and the dog are sent in to kill some rats. After the battle against a couple of measily rats, I chucklked when I saw the three covered in blood.

I'll turn blood splatter off, just like I did with Origins. It's silly. I'm surprised they kept it.

Not as such, doesn't mean bits of gore can't fly about.  But my first thought involving human bodies and band saws doesn't really go straight to living people.  Plus, the point of the first guess is to elicit a clarification!
