Yeah I think the hair looks really cool on her. Hell I would have liked her even if she was bald.(Maybe because she was bald?) And its cool to see a girl that doesnt have a "traditional" hair style for once.

*Nods* I quite like the less mundane hair style and it does give personality despite not knowing anything about her (and most likely never given her being just part of the initial concept storyboard, though one can hope). I think I also like the hair since it makes sense for a archer to have hair like that.

I'm hoping that companions are a little more skewed towards non-humans this go to make up for the fact that Hawke will ONLY be human.

Possibly.  That armor is seems to be the same one the character on the DAO manual is wearing.

That depends on how much you know, which is unknown to the original poster.

Subjective, and depends on how much you added to the matter at hand which in this case by your terms "None" as the OP already knows that there's no female elf companion that we know of yet, you just helped him along by being redundant.

So, we have the first person calling unnattractive before gameplay footage. If more of those arrive, the thread could degenerate further. I did not read the rest of the topic, though.

I wonder if those shown are all companions. Maybe someone is a strong non-companion presence? An elf woman is likely to still be hidden.

They said that this is the animatic, just sort of a visual look at how they wanted the gameplay.  nt the intent at this point was for Hawke to be some sort of werewolf if I understood correctly.  So again, I don't know that anything in this is going to appear.

I know, but she's done with amazing detail though.... besides the werewolf thing was just a joke Matthew Goldman they didn't actually consider it.

Possibly, but why concept art is always better than the actual implementation is something I'll never comprehend

Well, I'm not a fan of the elven redesign in these screens.  Don't have a problem with the punk elements, just the new nose ears eyes etc.  But then MEG didn't look that diffrent than the elves in Origins, so...
