Its easy to say "WEHO THIS DOESNT LOOK LIKE MASS EFFECT" because its first person scoping and qutie gritty, but well, in the long run, that doesnt mean squat. You could take numerous stills from the Mass Effect 2 cinematic CGI trailer and think the same thing, as that too was a lot more subdued in colour tones than Mass Effect 2 actually was.

can people stop going n about first contact war, its total speculation, and tbh is a stupid idea anyway.
if anything, it will most likely be an expansion to Mass Effect 2, after all, we have been promised story filling content to explain ME3. This makes more sense, as your trying to tell an EPIC CLIMATIC trilogy ending story in a limited time. you create more steps between number 2 and number 3.
so the reapers start chewing up outer colonies, hence all the destruction, remember reapers dont just arrive and everything dies, it takes CENTURYS for the reapers to finish wiping things out. A long protracted war is logical.
people are trying to make these amazing guesses at multiplayer ME, or ME3 or whatever they dream up in 5 mins. and ignore the logical option of DLC bridging the gap between ME2 and ME3 which is exactly what bioware said they would do, and we surely must have 12 more months befor ME3 gets a release date, so thats enough time to have 2 good DLCs of some serious reaper hurt on the galaxy befor finally in ME3 we get to save the world.
That is actually the most illogical conclusion. ME2 DLC? Yeah, i doubt that. They wouldn't hype this up the way they did for some DLC. Completely illogical.

its not like its being revealed at the premier games event of the year is it.
all the hype has come from the little nerdlings on this forum. all bioware has done is release a micro clip, some pic and this still. so dont come to me making out bioware is taking out adverts on CNN
PS3 is about to get ME2 Ok, so you think they will just say
'hey PS3 people, heres ME2 with all the DLC you already know about with all the spoilers on utube enjoy'
or would they say
'hey PS3 people, heres ME2, your just in time to join the PC and XBOX fans as we release the newest most interesting DLC yet for ME2'

This makes me happy, as I cant see many hardcore Bioware fans wanting a multiplayer game.

Could definitely be a large ME2 add-on to bridge the gap. Nothing illogical about that imho.

It could be jump out of your seat with rage, throw your mouse , and punch your monitor . Doesn't have to be happy jumping. It could be screaming not squeeing. : ) Aren't I Mr. Positive?

lol you are funny
There can be several years between announcement and release, this does not do anything to DLC (if there will be anything). You sound like a very clever person and thus obviously you try to force your opinion on others and call others stupid (not in a plain text), while not knowing anything yourself (or maybe you are BW insider that we didn't know about?). Until the official release, any assumptions and speculations are valid, even if someone will say that this is a game about unicorn war in 19th century. So cut it out please.

Dont ever read into statements like those. Its not like they're going to say "Hardcore BioWare fans may be surprised and disappointed!". They're just selling the game.
It may be multiplayer, it may not be. Im a pretty big BioWare fan and would be quite happy if the multiplayer shooter spin-off rumours were true.

19th century? Noob, that nine is clearly supposed to be upside down. Its about the Unicorn War set in the 16th century, and thats Hester Prynne in the scope's view. Obv sequel to Scarlet Letter.

What's that spiky thing on the lower middle and lower left edge of the picture? Is that some sort of fence? (Maybe it looks familiar to someone.) Rubble looks more or less the same everywhere, but the style of anything not destroyed may be a better to clue to where this is.

World War 5!
Peter we've been over this; there has to be a World War 3 and 4 first.
Oh no, oh no, that's the beauty of World War 5 Lois; it's so intense it skips over the other two.
