I'm a bit sad about mage Hawke being on steroids as well. Besides, I can't imagine how skinnier arms would cause clipping (actually, skinnier arms = less clipping if you ask me). If I can't have normal arms or at least long hair, it's just too much manliness for me to relate too .

Frankly I'm glad Hawke is muscular considering he/she lives in the middle ages and has an active lifestyle Hawke should be muscular.

Also remember Hawke lives in Lothering a small town that happens to have a Chantry(and Templars I might add), its not like he/she has the luxury to use magic out in the open.

I agree with muscular, but he looks like he's on steroids, a little too World of Warcraft. I don't buy the kind of look you see in 300. Those men don't look like they're better fighters, they just look like people who spent too much time at the gym. The way Hawke looks in this artwork seems more reasonable IMO :

There he still has that impressive figure yet he doesn't look like Hercules dressed as a mage. I'm not requesting a whole new body model of course but (although I'm no 3D artist, so I might be wrong), I don't think there would be too many implementation issues with the armors, textures and animations such as clipping with arms that actually have less volume.

EDIT : I do realise this can be seen as a capricious request ; please note that it's merely a suggestion. I'm used to playing Elves, Undead an necromancers in other RPGs because of that thing, so it's not as if it were a Dragon Age-specific complaint. I like the look of the game so far. Though I'm still expecting longer hairstyles !

Male Hawk doesn't seem that buff really... sure he's heavily toned but he's not built like a body builder. I can understand people wanting a less muscular mage body, but people saying that he's huge seems kinda silly.
