I have never been able to get Ammon Jerro to join my party. Now he has dissappeared from my list completely. My keep is at max, troops have best armor and weapons I can give them. The guard came up and said they were being chassed by golems and the reaver. I have said I was ready to go but there is no location on my map to go to.
Any suggestions?
Stuck on offroad quest.

In this quest you should be taken to the party select screen and then you will automatically pop to the correct location. AJ, IIRC was a required companion on this quest, but maybe not, it has been awhile since I have played through.
Is your game fully updated??
Did AJ ever show up on your companion selection screen??
What happened when you choose him if he did show up??
You may have hit a bug with the corruption of the .ros file in saves, that invalidates companions and can cause glitches that sound similar to what you are describing. If so read this......

If this is your issue, the copying of a valid .ros file will restore a companion, and can be gotten from any working save, even a newly created game, but it will restore the character back to base level 1,iirc, status. Thus you have to use the console to up the XP to match your level.

Yes its fully updated. AJ shows up on my list of companions but nothing happens. Ill read this and se what I can do. How do you use the console to up the xp to my level though?

If I go to the world transition AJ shows up. But when I talk and say "I'll go right away" nothing happens. It doesnt automatically take me to the character choose screen or anything. I have 27 grey cloaks from offroad standing in my courtyard and I dont know what to do now. Everything I have tried yeilds nothing.
