If Urz would make it, I would honestly giggle unstoppably. I´d glady give up all the ship-models (and I like my ship models), the cunning Space-hamster and the Fish That Die Too Often.

Maybe not even in the captain's cabin, but just running around freely on the normandy, with little v-houses where you can pet and feed him, one on each deck maybe?

Well, I guess, there'd be a second Lazarus-like project, ressurecting Urz and transforming him into a large space varren then. Consequently he defeats the reapers afterwards (if Shepard has enough food for him).

If Kelly is dead, then you have to remember to take Urz for "walkies" each time you are back on the ship, or the cabin becomes a mess
