Hi

This may have been raised before but I could not find anything so apologies if that's the case.

I have completed Origins and have a lvl24 human rogue who has just "finished" the entering and securing of vigil's keep in awakening. I have killed the talking darkspawn, had an audience with Alistair, released the Howe prisoner (nathaniel I think), spoken to all the people where the personal chest is, got loads of new quests, had a drinks party and basically done what I can at the keep (as far as I am aware at least). Though I do notice that "the awakening quest" is in the completed section of the Journal but "Speak to Mistress Woolsey" seems to still be incomplete.

I want to leave the keep and so go off to the world map but I just get a blank book page (with a small grey square top left) i.e no map or locations. If I toggle between area map and world map the area shows up but just this blank page in WM.

I cannot understand why this is so. Have I missed something that "allows" access to the WM i.e. completion of a certain quest required before leaving or what? It is very frustrating not being able to leave the keep and go to Amaranthine or Forlorn Cove etc...

I am playing this via Steam.

Anyone seen something similar or have a solution to the issue?

Help please...

Thanks

This "issue" may have been one of the bugs that got fixed with the 1.04 patch. I waited for the patch to come out before playing Awakening, so I can't say much about what bugs existed before the patch, that aren't the more well known ones. However, during my playthroughs, after completing "The Awakening", there is no mention of Mistress Woolsey in the completed quest log. Perhaps that was part of the patch fix? If everything is working correctly, you should be able to walk out of the keep the same way you entered, or via the world map.

If you haven't already patched your game up to 1.04, I'd suggest doing so. It fixed many (though not all) bugs.

Hi, thanks for the answer. I am using 1.04 (I am pretty sure) can't see how to check that

If you play on consoles, the game will automatically upgrade to the latest patch available, if you're connected online. On pc, you have to manually update, though I don't know the details.

Playing through steam but can't seem to see which patch, but assume it's 1.04.

Going trhough the game again from "stratch" to see if this is an "Imported" character issue. Having lots of fun with the relationship side of the game this time as I know basically what's to come and can prepare in advance (cheating a bit I guess).

So far I have managed both Morrigan and Lelianna to fall in "love" etc...but also (most disturbingly Zef!!). Now going to marry the Annora and see if anything else transpires. Great fun actually even got my Dragon amour but missed out on the dragon in Ozammar!....

The dragon in the throne room? It's a decent fight, but nothing like the high dragon during the urn of sacred ashes quest.
