I have quick question about the achievement. When you reach level 59 in me1, you can see at the character screen that it takes approx 200,000 exp, more actually, i forget how much exactly, to reach that level. You can also see it takes over 800,000 if i recall, to reach level 60.

At this rate, how many playthroughs should it take to get the "achievable"?

Also, i should note that my lvl 59 character was a re-import, first time through, only got to lvl 44, highest i ever got in a single game is 53, after the exp bonus from the hardcore achievement.

One more thing: The quote is a reference. Cookie if you get it. ( though i'm sure quite a few people will. )

It depends... I finished my second playthrough on level 59, at about 710,000. it took me eden prime + Noveria and Therum on my third playthrough to crack the 860,000 needed for lvl60, but that was a speed run where i did no assignments and only killed what was necessary. I imagine 2 'majority' playthroughs would generally do it, but three normal playthroughs would definitely be adequate given how much experience the main missions get you

Two playthroughs, once you have access to level 51+. Otherwise three.

Well I tested this by letting my friend play the game for the first time. I also told him killing enemies on foot gives more experience than killing in a vehicle. He had no bonuses from achievements. So going through and doing everything he reached level 50 on the first playthrough easily. Second playthrough he got to level 60 right before the battle with Saren (second time) on the Citadel. So with no bonuses 2 playthroughs. With bonuses who knows, but I doubt you can reach 60 in one playthrough.

It's still at least two playthroughs to get to 60.

Most I got with no cheats was 58 on one playthrough. Turrets, Thresher Maws and Colossus' beware!

It took 2 playthroughs for me, I don't think it's possible to get to level 60 in one play through. The most I’ve got was level 56 I think.

Without cheating with console or using one of the few XP glitches it has been proven and written in threads many times that it is NOT possible to get to 60 in one play. Most people can do it in 2 completionist runs, or take 3 speed runs to max convo skills without putting points into them.



Search this forum some and you will see the tread about 60 in one play.

I just got my shep to lvl 60 on my second play through but i didn't get my achievement , any ideas ?

Are you on the PC? Check to see if you actually got the achievement and it didn't tell you. If that's not the case, use a cheat code to unlock it since you actually earned it.

It's taken me 5 - mainly because I did no side missions, and when on Insanity I drove past enemies in the Mako to avoid fighting them. I'm 59, need about 60,000 experience at the end of my 4th playthrough.

I've reached lvl 60 in two playthroughs (59 in the first). I kill as many enemies on foot as I can (including the thresher maws), do all sidequests and mine all minerals. It's not a problem to get 999 omni-gel and maxed out cash either.
