 it was only on my sixth playthrough that I found the hidden farmers on eden prime. hiding in the shed near where nihlus was killed. they gave me a pistol and everything! Did anyone else completely fail to find them?

Nope, I did miss finding the cannon on the Mako my first couple of times through the game. It takes quite a bit to kill a thresher maw with just the machine gun.

me too, found it the second time luckily. though I didn't even manage to install ammo mods in my first playthrough. all seems easy now, but the inventory system in ME1 was a nightmare...

I found them on my second playthrough as well.

I discovered that on my seventh playthrough. Seventh! No joke.

As for the farmers, if I remember right, I never missed them, not even on my first playthrough. Eden Prime was fairly linear and you could hardly miss too much anyway.

Took me twelve f**king playthroughs to find that. Games like this need a tutorial.

That's just because of the location where the cutscene triggers (i.e. people tend to go straight to the beacon). I missed it myself.
