I remember Casey Hudson saying they won't make too many tweaks to the engine, that it's already where they like it, and not much is needed to add to it. So he said that significantly cuts down on development time too.

Actually, I wouldn't mind on Bioware meeting half-way between the two established gameplay of ME1 and ME2. They all have their good points and bad points, so it'll be nice to get the best of both worlds. Oh and Bioware? Make it more open-world. I know you didn't do it well in Mass Effect 1, since everything you made apart from the Cidatel was a bit uninspiring and quite plain, but that doesn't mean we should have to deal with tight corridors and convientley-placed boxes and cover that makes up the area as well.

It's nice to have the balance! Also, Bioware, please make sure not to reuse that bastard plot device you revealed at the end again. If you do, I'm going to play FFXIII to spite you.

Here's to hoping they'll actually do something with the story's premise this time. I didn't care too much of Mass Effect 2's choice of downplaying the main plot in favor of the "sidequests".

Bioware changes their mind about not being able to import shepard into ME3 if he died in ME2. Well not him actually cuz all of his ablities are transferred to Conrad Verner who becomes the main player.

It wouldn't have been as irked as much if they gave good reason for humans having superior genetic diversity. Varied appearances and personalities are in no way conclusive proof for something like that. Mordin sounded like an idiot making assumpsions when he went on about that.

There are some inconsistencies, too. Salarians have their own sub-species and we're still more genetically diverse than them? Krogans show amazing adaptibility and endurance beyond all other races and originally reproduced at an insanely high rate and nothing shows for that?
