@Planet: Hopefully not quite that way. DA was a great game in it's own way, but ME3 deserves a unique story, not a rehash.

That would be pretty awesome.
It will also be interesting to see how your choice from ME2 will play into the game. Can't wait for this.

im probably the biggest me3 drop in drop out co-op supporter/fan but this is right if bioware doesent include multiplayer then add it as dlc please make it happen bioware:pinched:crazyaz wrote...
I got Full Paragon both games, had all survivors, and it would SUCK if they detracted from the story in ANY way to make it work in Multi-player. I'll admit i'm curious as to how ME3 Multiplayer would work, but I think they should release multiplayer as DLC after ME3 releases, so that those who want it can get it, and those who don't won't have to wait until they work it out.

What if this is the Red Herring?
Or it could be a marketing ploy.
To think that EA made a blunder, and posted the game early, is a little silly.

Maybe a mix of choices.
Save Council + Destroy Base = Earth Saved
Council Dies + Destroy Base = Earth Falls
Save Council + Keep Base = Earth Saved
Council Dies + Keep Base = Earth Falls.
A little rough...but it would be interesting.

I think earth falls no matter what, because the description said... "...your only hope for saving mankind is to rally the civilizations of the galaxy and launch one final mission to take back the Earth."
I'm pretty sure earth must be taken in order to be taken back

I don't think it will benefit anyone to dissect this little blurb.
Take "back" Earth...from whom? The Reapers? Possibly a different species...? Maybe the Batarians attacked...who knows?
Unless explained logically, I can't imagine thousands of Reapers chilling on Earth, allowing the Galactic community the time to strike back.
The more I think of it...the more this sounds like "Reign of Fire."

Ah well, maybe they'll make up for it by giving us a Geth/Quarian/Turian/Salarian/Asari/Krogan/Rachni Army. or at least give it to me. I told the Quarians not to fight geth, paragon'd Legion & Tali in their argument, Saved the Council, Had Wrex survive, and let the Rachni queen go. I want my army.

Maybe your choices could lead to Shepard's death...again.
If you were a dick to all the other civs in the galaxy...you can still "take back" Earth...but you die in the process.
If your not...well you "take back" Earth in live.
All I know is...I'm taking a break from these forums a week after tomorrow.

I think the whole thing about "Red Herring" is... that this guy from trailer is actually a Commander Shepard.Yes,I think this is Shepard's default face for ME3.Because if your Shepard died in suicide mission you'll start ME3 with new one and he won't look like Mark Vanderloo.
Easy enough.

If we go by this pattern, a release of October 2011 is most likely.MisterDyslexo wrote...

Any ME2 save with Shepard dead cannot be imported to ME3. Come on, I thought that was common knowledge by now!Tetragnatha_Sp wrote...

On a side note, I was watching Ancient Aliens on the History Ch, and they were talking about Snippy the Horse, a horse that was found by his owner to be surgically mutilated with it's spinal fluid completely removed. Multiple cases of cattle have been found too. This tv producer/journalist claims to have talked to a government official who is aware of non-human ETs, and he said the reason for all these mutilations was genetic harvesting. Perhaps BW has been watching some history channel?? lol

I had a feeling it would turn out to be some sort of "rally the army" kind of game.
I can see the setup on why the council wont do squat already. Council member races being able to take care of their own problems or its a human-only incident or something like that used as an excuse.

Imagine a picture of a drinking glass, with 50% of its capacity occupied by water.
Now would you call that half-empty, or half-full?
