Just curious. Is anyone else refusing to watch the VGA? I am. The award show is horrible. Horrible music, horrible celebrity appearance...the whole thing is a waste of time. I'm not sitting through the whole show to watch a 15 second trailer that says ME3 at the end.

It's on the EA Store, of course. They are more expensive. BioWare points even cost more on the EA Store than they do on this website (in the Eurozone at least).

I haven't watched it for a few years. But yes...they have intermissions with singing stuff (hip hop/rap). It was a horrible waste of time.

dammit, it seems everything tries to be mainstream and cool by having hip hop in it.  I was really excited about this show but now I'm conflicted.  I'll watch it only to see the Mass Effect 3 trailer and to see Final Fantasy XIII get crushed by Mass Effect 2.

To be honest laddies and gents I can't see Mass effect 2 winning against StarCraft2....Mass effect is a good game but StarCraft has a bigger fan base, look at Korea, Starcraft is a religion there. I voted for Mass effect 2, but Star Craft is going to be hard to beat.

SC2 isnt actually that good. The balance is shot to hell.

I think its good. SC1.5 if you ask me. Balance sucks. I hate ZvsT. Not much longer for that trailer....

Balance is quite even at the moment actually, if you've been following GSL 3 you should know.



Honestly I think SC2 will have a longer and more lasting impact than ME2 will have. I'd like ME2 to win, but I can't see it win...

Ah well, maybe they'll make up for it by giving us a Geth/Quarian/Turian/Salarian/Asari/Krogan/Rachni Army. or at least give it to me. I told the Quarians not to fight geth, paragon'd Legion & Tali in their argument, Saved the Council, Had Wrex survive, and let the Rachni queen go. I want my army. 

When and where do you tell the quarians not to fight the geth? From all my playthroughs I don't remember this.

save talis mission for last and bring Legion >.> things shall ensue

edit: only heavily implied and don't forget the crazy quarian chick who wants to enslave the geth again and now has the tools to do it (read your e-mails)

I definitely want to bring Legion to the Flotilla but I don't want my crew to die. I could avoid this by not doing Legion's loyalty quest at all but then I can't lecture Tali and Legion about the upcoming war.

Edit: Unless I do Legion's loyalty quest after the suicide mission. Will the fight between Tali and Legion still happen?

Actually, I did Tali & Legion's loyalty quests immediately after getting Legion and then I did save the whole crew.
I think there's a randomness aspect because I tried the same thing on another character and half the crew died.

SC2 isn't nominated for VGA GOTY. Korean popularity has nothing to do with an American award show, obviously.

Actually it's been confirmed that the footage we saw is a snippet of a much larger video. So I doubt it.

I don't think that means what we've seen is not the beginning, though, just that we've not seen it all.
