I'm concerned at how this is going to work. The reapers are assaulting Earth and we have to rally the galaxy to save it? The Reapers will destroy Earth in a day. More so why would they target Earth first? It's incredibly stupid from a strategic viewpoint. The Citadel is still the hub of the Relay Network. Earth is of no importance.

Humanity as saviors? I thought the whole point of ME was that humans are not saints/the chosen ones but part of a much larger community.

Uh, if you recall Vigil's info in ME1, it took a long time to destroy everything. The process wasnt done in a day per planet, hence why it took centuries.

Yeah, Earth is under attack. It is quite annoying that they revealed this tidbit but it's going to be awesome to finally see Earth in the future. And here's hoping all that speculation about seeing London (judging by the evaluation of some images, some saying it's the river thames, the British Secret Intelligence Service website and the song by The ... The... The C-something... no not CSec ^^, The Clash! That's it! I think... anyhow, I'm rooting to see London!
To be honest I'm not surprised about Earth being under attack. I doubt it would be the Reapers. I'm guessing another faction attacks Earth either out of hatred (Batarians?) or a race following the Reapers... etc... you know ... the whole 'brain wash the leader of a military and wage war on Earth' sorta deal. After all, defeat humanity = defeat shepard. And we all know that Shepard can have a fist fight with a Reaper and live through it so quite frankly it makes sense. Am I making sense? No I doubt it.

But what I'm saying is if the entire Reaper Fleet arrived, Earth would be nothing but a planet of glass. Literally. There wouldn't be anything left (god forbid that happening in ME3 ^^) so I'm guessing it's another Race attacking humanity.

If Earth is under attack in ME3. Then it makes sense the hints so far shows something about a ruined London. It Would also suggest that the Reapers have a ground army taking Earth, instead of just using orbital bombardment.

I guess the leak could be intentional, but i think sufficient expectation and hype has been generated by the clues and images we have seen over the last few weeks.

Mass Effect one was so amazing and mysterious because they didnt give up all the information about it.



ME2 they showed way to much like they showed the collecters before hand. I was in no way surprised when I saw the vid of the collecters.



I was instantly reminded of the first time I saw the geth or even sovereign on Eden Prime and how the intro of the collectors failed in comparison because all the info about them had already been given up.

Given that we got first teasers of ME2 about a year before launch, maybe we'll get ME3 for Holiday 2011. One can hope, right?
