I don't have a clue who the figure is. Anybody want to guess whose style of architecture that surrounds it?
It reminds me of Geth style. Therefore, I'm going to assume this is the inside of a Quarian temple since Geth-style architecture is presumably based on Quarian style. Also, we know that the Quarians are huminoid because we can see the general outline of their shape and, on higher screen resolutions, can even see much of Tali's face.
Rannoch?
Beautiful. Didn't geth destoy everything?
And where are pyramids?

Why would Geth worship the very thing that's trying to destroy them?
See the Bible. God was a total hater.

"You can go back and finish some stuff in the post-game."
Shepard survival: CONFIRMED!
(Well, I'm sure there will be some endings where she'll die either horribly or sacrificially, but it's nice to know she has a chance to live through it all too!)

1 month 3 days 12.5 hours to go till (M)e3.
No, the two months referred to is fictional time within the game between the end of ME2 and the trial that begins in the game story on Earth. It's not the interval between Arrival and ME3, which is due the last quarter of this year -- which means it could be as late as December and that's if it arrives on time.

geth worshipping the creator (quarians)? that would be awesome!
Assuming that even is Rannoch, why would you think it's got anything to do with worship? Didn't you talk to Legion?
Legion: "We accept the creators' hate. We hold their world of origin, though we are only caretakers for it."
-----
Legion: "We maintain mobile platforms on creator worlds to clean rubble and toxins left by the Morning War. We know of similar actions by humans on Earth."
Shepard: "Similar actions?
Legion: "At Wadi-es-Salaam. Arlington. Rookwood. Tyne Cot. Piskarevskoye. Auschwitz-Birkenau."
Shepard: "Those are cemetaries. Memorials."
Legion: "It is important to your species to preserve them, though you do not use the land. Can you explain?"
Shepard: "The living visit those places to remember the dead. But it sounds like geth don't die. Your memories live on."
Legion: "The creators died. Perhaps we do it for them."

wor·ship/ˈwərSHip/Verb: Show reverence and adoration for (a deity); honor with religious rites.Noun: The feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity: "ancestor worship".
-Adoration or devotion comparable to religious homage, shown toward a person or principle
me·mo·ri·al/məˈmôrēəl/Noun1. Something, esp. a structure, that reminds people of a person or event.2. Intended to commemorate someone or something: "a memorial service in the dead man's honor"
my bad.
i was thinking a child parent thing. besides..we have seen there are more to the geth than just organic-hating killing machines....why is "worship" or "revere" far-fetched?
Maybe WORSHIP is too strong a idea.
there is a reason they maintain things like they do....instead of turning it into rubble. programming? i think they've moved past that...why wouldnt cleaning and maintaining relics of their former masters be considered irrelavent? holds some sort of sentimental value...perhaps. maybe BioWare says..maybe they dont. so we have to interpret certain things..and each of us will interpret them differently

The statue appears to have only one, rather long arm. The "hair" could be a hood or headdress maybe? For scale, below the words you can see two figures. It definitely looks like citadel architecture but I can't place what species that statue belongs to.

Funny; it made me think of Xenogears.

Which isn't a bad thing at allThose games are so underrated. Not sure how I feel about potential religious symbolism slipping into ME though (I guess technically there has already been a little bit of that though).
Criminally underrated. But hey, they've got that 'cult appeal' thing going. That means they'll continue to be remembered fondly by a small percentage of the gaming sphere for ages to come.
As for religious symbolism in Mass Effect, I agree. A sampling of it works beautifully -- EDI's quoting of the Bible regarding Legion adds a layer of depth and intrigue.
On the other hand, fighting a machine-god... oh hey, wait a minute. XD
