Cool how they look different. I think this is the first time Ive seen a couple of different Reapers side by side. Thanks for posting it ^^didymos1120 wrote...

Could this be the "ground reaper" shown in the failed arrival countdown video?Could this be the "ground reaper" shown in the failed arrival countdown video?[/url] You can see a split second of what looks like a "spider reaper" walking on the citadel firing it's lasers.
I found this bit from the "FAIL!" cutscene more interesting:
It's apparently a bunch of Reapers inspecting the Collector Base (or what's left of it).

Actually, I prefer that option to the Batarians being the duped allies and ground forces of ME3. Batarians may be slavers and brutes, but if they can and will fight, I'm all for their survival.

Watch the last few seconds of ME2, there are few different types of Reapers in the cutscene. Big and small.

I know, but it only lasted for around two seconds. This pic lets you study them in greater detail, and it lets you see clear differences that you cant really make out frome the GameInformer cover.

It looks like the reapers just inspected it because they're heading towards the debris field. Let's hope they're leaving empty handed...

No, they're simply facing in that direction. The base was roughly cylindrical, remember? They're obviously looking through some sort of opening.

Fat Reaper ate all the pies during the last invasion.
Sovereign: All right, all of the Protheans' infrastructures are gone. Another planet down, let's move on to the next one.
Harbinger: Hold on, someone isn't finished yet.
Sovereign: Who- *looks at Fat Reaper* you have got to be kidding me. I thought I'd told you to stop doing that!
Fat Reaper: *stops eating* I'm sorry, Big S, but I couldn't just destroy this bakery! *belches* Not when the pastries they make are so delicious...
Harbinger: Stop it. If you get any fatter, we're going to have to cut you in half and make two trips when we use the next Mass Relay.
Fat Reaper: I'm not fat! I'm pleasanty plump.
Sovereign: Sure. Get moving, tubbo.

I picked up a copy of ComputerBildSpiele (a German mag) and they seem to have been at the same preview event as GI. The article has no new info and some mistakes (husks get called reapers several times). But the one interesting thing is that they have a release date 27.09.2011

Well there is one image of four weapons with short descriptions SMG (various knives can be added for melee), assault riffle (with grenade launcher upgrade), laser-gun and sniper riffle that I have not seen before and concept art of an earth skyscraper before and after the reaper invasion. Since I do not follow ME3 painstakingly I do not know if other magazines have shown them before. The other screenshots are all old news.SergeySW wrote...

But has anyone else claimed that Shepard will now sometimes be able to climb up on obstacles and fire from above ?

That's why Collector base should be destroyed if the Reapers will inspect it (screenshot above)
This is the 'mission failed' video- it's what would have happened had Shepard failed in Arrival. Besides Cerberus could easily just blow up the base before the reapers get there (adopt a scorched earth policy) as the base is clearly easy to blow up.
