There is no one in marketing that thinks like this. And that's not necessarily bad.

I'd be able to look at it with a straight face...

Unfortunately, you aren't in marketing.

Although if you actually are in marketing, that gives me a bit of hope for the field. I do like it; I've always liked that style.

Technically there are some folks who publish covers like that but it's something I've only regularly seen in Japan. Many of the Final Fantasy series of video games are beautiful white covers with the logo and nothing else over there. In the Western world it's a whole different ballgame, though.

What's the point of releasing it on mobile platforms? Not trying to sound like an ass but I'm really curious. What is the point in bringing the last game of a trilogy on a platform that hardly anyone uses for gaming (besides angry birds)? Boggles the mind!

Isn't there a thread about fan box art?

The real question is...can I import my choices? :P

I kinda suspect it's actually going to be a tie-in game marketed as part of the "ME3 experience" or whatever, though it may be one of those re-telling deals you see from time to time w/ other big console titles.

How bout you quit screwing up the game Bioware. I have serious doubts about buying the 3rd one after that crap they did to ME2. If you wanna make a tps start a new IP don't ruin a great rpg. Hopefully this game will be playable to people who are legally retarded cuz I don't think you got their money from ME2 they couldn't figure out how to spend their talent points so I say get rid of leveling all together like you did with the loot it will make the game more accessible.

Last time I checked, Mass Effect has always been a third person shooter with RPG elements. Not the other way around.

Okay first don't act like they are in the pleasing you personally buisness cause they aren't.
Second, incase you missed it Mass Effect has ALWAYS been a "Third Person Shooter".
Finally, leveling up has always been an RPG element, but I do think we should not have lotting due to the fact about the weapons mods.

Oh and opinions are opinions.

Thank you sir and good night.

It appears that most people on these boards disagree. Apparently, Bioware aren't actually out to make games for you personally. Who'd have thought it?

1st one was a hybrid TPS/RPG just like the 2nd, only the 2nd actually felt like a proper one, but perhaps you missed all that shooting in ME1?!

I assume that means things like intimidate/charm that only have an effect on conversation (and were very "background" stats in ME2 as opposed to their ME1 versions).

Thank you for the link.

So dumbing down has a new term: "Enriching the roleplaying aspects of the game". Clever marketing.

I'm sorry, have you played the game?

We have no idea what they mean by meaningless stats yet. It could be something that genuinely did very little. Plus, lots of numbers do not make the RPG, or the intelligence of the game.

I'd imagine that it refers to those very small and insignificant boosters.
