IF Bioware does do what Bungie does with the pre orders then I hope they have awesome sculptures of a few different people that you could choose from.  Personally I would love to own a shep or ashley sculpture.

Then again last time the pre order was just a early DLC download....which was fine but not really that cool..also they really need to increase the "Behind the Scenes," Featurette the BTS in Me2 was a real letdown.

I want to see EVERYONES take on Mass Effect as a whole franchise between 1-3 and each voice actors take with their character development....I'm sure that is possible but doubt it would happen.

Great therad .

I'm happy they promissed more RPG elements  . I was affraid it would go even more down the action-RPG path.
Can't wait to see more .

Ok, I'm confused. The PS3 version of ME2 having the ME3 engine confuses me because I thought I read a long time ago that ME2 and ME3 would use the same engine. So I'm confused did they have to change the engine alot? Do you think it took alot of money to change the engine (money that I was hoping they would use for other things like story and characters)? Since I don't know anything about game development I can't answer these myself.

ME3 engine is upgraded ME2 engine, which means Unreal Engine 3.0...

So it's basically the same thing. They didn't change much?

ME2 is on Unreal 3.5 ^^ Mass Effect 1 was on 3.0.

Seems Bioware just made some tweaks here and there to 3.5 and Jesse called it 'new engine'.

how difficult would it be to have a downloadable trailer read your save and render your Shephard? That would be awesome.

Lighting/shadows seem to be changed the most of anything, but I'm sure there are a ton of other little performance/bug tweaks as well. But yes, its mostly the same engine.

The difference lies within the lighting, as Malad said. It also seems to look a bit "sharper" and perhaps somewhat darker. Other than that, it's really basically the same thing, which makes sense.

I don't remember where I read it, but changes do include turning depth of field or whatever it's called off. I tweaked my ini, and I have to say that the game looks much better.. Except for when I am at TIM's office.

Would you share the tip?

It's pretty easy if I remember correctly, you follow the standard procedure for editing your coalsced.ini. You have to turn 'Depth of Field' from 'True' to 'False'.

I hope they put more armor customization in to ME3. Specifically visors. I wear glasses and seeing my character wear something similar just gets me into the game more.

don't include MP, because it will ruin the game.

3d? no thanks

one of the rumors I heard is that none of your team mates from ME2 won't be available because there are too many variables and too much work for bioware. that would be insane (negative conotation) because most of ME fans got emotianly attached to characters... ? I would be grateful if someone proves me wrong and rids me of this discomfort.

fix the bad and buggy lights

Make classes more interesting, more differences etc...

add more customization, weapons, rpg elements, armor etc..

It would be cool to use technology from avatar or LA Noir to capture facial performance. it would raise the personality of game and characters unbelievably.

I don't want to see my character  drink through helmet ever again. atleast add an option to toggle helmet on/off

And I just hope they don't make it any more simpler, because many modern game suffer from "consolitis".

sorry for my bad spelling I haven't used my english in a while

cheers

edit: also, reveal tali's face if you can make it beautiful, but really beautiful, if not , better to remain hidden.
TBH both ashley and miranda weren't beauties..., only liara was semi good

Don't listen to people who use 'too many variables' as an excuse.
Imagine that in your ME2 playthrough you don't let Grunt out of his tank. What happens, what new variables are added ?

None. All the variables, files etc, are still there in the installed files of the game, you just don't use them. Grunt's 'variables' are there, he isn't.

You can toggle helmet on/off

I thought facial animations were very good

Yvonne Strahovksi is sexy and  I personally can't find anything other than a human attractive....

Other than that I guess I agree with most of it. There's no way that all of the characters from ME2 won't be in ME3, some will be on our team, like Garrus probably.

You can, for example, toggle Blood Dragon Armour's helmet off?

DLC-ish armours did have that problem until the Kestrel pack.

I strongly hope they fix as many of the bugs relating to biotics as possible. It's so frustrating when I'm on my last sliver of health when an enemy in health is facing me and I use my or my squadmate's pull only for the enemy to not be affected (minus having the biotic field around him) + killing me in the process. This usually happens when I start using powers synergistically and in fast succession

Also, sorry for the double post, but I whole-heartedly agree with the above post^. Especially on his opinion of the gimmicks rumored to be in. IMHO multiplayer would de-personalize and water down the overall experience of this wonderful masterpiece of a game. I would rather Bioware focus solely on the story/rpg/gameplay elements then for them to spend that valuable time and effort into some tacked on MP. Save the MP for some spin-off or something.
