One thing about Cerberus working for the Reapers: Chris Preistly posted in the thread about the PC Gamer article that anything not quoted from Casey Hudson may not be accurate and the comment about Cerberus working with the Reapers was not attributed to Casey in any form so it seems reasonable Chris may've been referring to that.

It seems that PC Gamer heard Cerberus is working against Shepard and (possibly wrongly) assumed that meant they are working for/with the Reapers - this may not be the case and the two could be separate antagonists with different agendas. Bioware specifically said to GameInformer that players wouldn't know why Cerberus is chasing Shepard until the game is released so it seems unlikely that they'd then immediately release said information to a different magazine. It is more likely PC Gamer came to their own conclusion about it, which may or may not be wrong.

It may make more sense to mark that as rumour for now.

The Cerberus Reaper connection was not specifically referred to in Chris' post. And this is true OF ANYTHING printed.  why is THAT accepted as possible speculation and not some other things that some have interpreted as less than reliable? Slap a asterisk on everything!

Just to add for the first post:

PC Gamer magazine mentions that all weapons from ME2 that you had will be available in ME3.

"Every weapon from the last game returns..." pg 44, Combat Tested section, Paragraph 4

I think info like Tali being a newly confirmed squadmate is not that easy to take the wrong way.

i was referring to stuff printed in other magazines that have not been (atleast) mentioned in other magazines, have come way out of left field, or read like someone put two and two together and got 22...but to them 22 makes PERFECT sense...so it must be true...to the best of their knowledge. The newest happens to be in PC GAMER. there are others.

dont think it is right to mark one item when those that have not come up anywhere else are left as CONFIRMED and unquestioned.

Tali wasn't confirmed whenever she'll be a permanent squadmate or not until the PCG, because the info in that PS3 mag was sloppy at best.

Christina Norman: Let me make this simple: we are improving both the RPG and Shooter aspects of ME3
User: So err...what's John Riccitiello talking about then? Or is he just saying random words?
CN: I think if you listen carefully to what he said and don't make assumptions it is pretty clear :o

I am most excited  fo this. I always thought concussive shot was a wimpy power. Not any more.

Sounds like a glorified Cryo Blast to me, though.

I might be wrong.

It's probably got knock down effect too

And does damage too.

Does anyone know if the whole deal with the "meaningless stats" may refer to the pointless effects of the armour like +3% health or +5% damage that peices of armour gave you in ME2 that had really no effect on the battles?

I guess so. Either that, or they're going to boost the power levels so the actually mean something. Either way works for me.

I'm making the assumption that it means that stats, instead of having relatively inconsequential effects, instead will have more tangible benefits. It's sort of like the final part in the unlock sequence where you can choose between the power's two different isotopes.

I think they're turning it more into a skill tree.

Yeah, there has been a lot of talk about powers branching out and getting new evolved forms. If I have to give up some stats, I think that's a sacrifice I'm willing to take.

Dear Bioware,

Since you delayed the game, Mass Effect 3 will come out between 9 and 11 months from now. This means that there is still time to add new elements (like vehicles, which you MUST add as a main gameplay element by the way). I crave ground Reapers. I want them to appear in the game and I want them to give me the kind of fear that ME2's praetorian gave me. I want them to be the size of a scion from ME2, maybe even a little bigger, and I want them to kick the players ass.

You should give these remotely-controlled-mini-Reapers an awesome name (I suggest Delta Reapers) and they should come in five types:

1) Reaper Ranger: This guy should be very common (7-9 times per mission), it should be as strong as a YMIR Mech: it should have mounted machine gun and rocket launcher as weapons; and it should be as tough as a normal enemy: It should have both shields and armor and should be defeatable in as fast a time as a sentinel merc. This guy should have the normal Delta Reaper look, meaning he should look like a huge, purple-armor plated beetle with four yellow eyes and guns attached to the bottom of two of their six insectile claws.

2) Reaper Assasin: This beast will be the close-ranged Reaper type, and he is easily defeatable before he gets too close to you, which will result in a one hit kill for you and your squad. He should have less shields and armor than the Ranger, and instead of gunned claws, his claws should have sharp blades, his eyes should shine white and his head shape should be longer than that of the Ranger. He should appear regularly, but the amount of times in a mission should still be less than the Ranger (4 or 5 times per mission). His classic attack will be a stunning shrieck followed by him sprinting towards you or your squad and meleeing them.

3) Reaper Warrior: Probably the toughest normal enemy in the game and one of the most uncommon enemies in the game too (1 or 2 times per mission), this guy will be absolutely devastating. It should be a full on biotic that should use super fast warps (about 3 per second for two seconds), it should have a massive shockwave, and it should have charge and an exclusive power that allows him to blast everyone around him with a biotic bubble that pushes them away. It should have blue lit eyes and all its biotics should shine blue instead of purple. He should be much scarier than the Ranger and the Assasin: He should have cracks where the armor can't be seen, out of which a blue light should eminate, it should be slightly bigger than the other two and each time it appears in front of you, you should be washed with fear.

4) Reaper Technician: This guy should be there to support the rest, he should be much much more humanoid and should have basic tech powers. He should be quite annoing as his signature move should be to replenish the rest of the Reaper's shields. He should be as easily killable as a normal collector, and should even slightly resemble a collector in his shape and size. His eyes should be green.

5) Spider-Reaper: Walking on all fours, this Reaper should come in swarms, its eyes should be red and it should really resemble a spider. The signature weapon to fight it should be the shotgun, and it should only have a small amount of armor and NO SHIELDS. This means one shotgun shot should take it down. Its signature move should be to shoot acid at you (very much like that of a Thresher Maw), and he should have a weak melee attack aswell.

You should remeber that these guys will be accompanied by the many new husks, so there will be no lack of enemies in Reaper missions at all.

Thank you for listening Bioware, I hope you take this in mind because I bet anyone will agree most of this is awesome. I love you!

P.S.
Please quote this so Bioware will see it, people. I wants me some ground Reapers!!! :P

Could someone do a poll thread about ground Reapers, please? I don't want Cerberus or the Husks to be the main enemies of the game.

Interesting, but I think that ground reapers should be far more powerful and not use conventional weapons.

Thanks for bringing back Admiral Hackett. Cool guy. I really enjoyed doing those missions in ME1. That was one of my requests.

Actually, my vision of the ground Reapers are that they are not Reapers at all, but remote conrolled drones. There couldn't be such a thing as a small Reaper really... Reapers are giant sentient ships that are controlled by a larva core made out of other creatures bodies, so having a small Reaper would be quite impossible. Although it would be cool if after you take one of these out, its armor will fall down revealing some sort of larva core inside that will be kind of like a husk. :o lol jk
