I read PCG and you can find scans in the Internet. They wrote this.

PCG says so.

If it sounds unrealistic, imagine that it absorbs ATP or something to make the amounts on their own bodies greater.

Has anyone heard if all the resources and money our Shepards collected in ME1 and ME2 will help in ME3?

They've confirmed Tali as a permanent squadmate, yes.

This may be an insignificant factor to most people, but I am rather invested in the min/maxing qualities of rpgs. I have stayed true to playing as a Soldier on all my playthroughs, and I am currently working my way through both games for a third time. Doing all known activities in both games, and making decisions based on how I perceive that they will help in ME3.

First off, I noticed a glaring flaw ~ well, to be fair, I wouldn't really call it a flaw, rather an inconveinance ~ Once you reached, oh...around level 55 or so, you are just looting containers and lockers for the experience, and converting everything to omnigel. I can't remember the last time I had less than max credits or omnigel. I am glad to hear that we are getting our loot system back, but not to the degree of ME1 for that fact alone.

Now, when it comes to squad members in ME1 - the armor, and upgrades were identical. I would equip them all with Predator armor, or Colossus suits if I ran across them. For mods, I'd use the Medical Exoskeleton for the power cooldown, and health regen.

For their weapons I'd give them all Combat Optics, because the only stat that matters for NPC characters is their allotted accuracy percentage. For ammo, they would all get Sledgehammer Rounds because it was the only round that did significant damage/force without losing accuracy.

If you are a "hardcore" gamer, and you don't play these games just for the story, but also for the immersive rpg elements - having the ability to not just beat the game, but completely and utterly dominate it, you'll know that in pretty much every game, there is end-all equipment that outweighs the benefits of others. If they changed these factors in ME3 so that we could still customize weapons with different things with no CLEARLY superior enhancement, I'd be happy.

ME2 was completely different, as we all know. I could, still, however, change my armor. Though, here is where the mix/maxing comes into play again. Since heavy weapons had little-to-no ammo, I'd use the Ordinance Packs leg armor. The Mattock Rifle from the Fire Power Pack DLC was by far the best assault rifle in the game. It did, however, have a drawback ~ very little ammo, comparable to other rifles. Of course, in order to compensate for this, I used the off-hand ammo pack. (this also effects the Widow sniper rifle, but to a much lesser extent.)

The Kuwashii Visor was used over the Kestral helmet for the extra 5% headshot damage, since that stat is very rare. Though, whenever you had a mission that took you out into space, it was replaced by the default helmet, and I am not sure if you retained your stats. The Kestral chestpiece was the obvious choice for that slot, since the others paled in comparison, and finally the Strength Boost Pads were used for shoulders, mostly just for husks, due to danger they posed at higher difficulties.

The moral to this rather long, and probably boring story, which I thank you for reading if you have, is: none of these armor pieces in ME2 matched, and while I do truly appreciate the fact that we were even able to replace items on a one-by-one basis, I'd like to see the ability to transfer stats onto existing models. Such as being able to take the default N7 armor chestplate you get at the start of the game, and change the stats to that of a chestpiece that you currently own. Like I said, it's probably rather petty, but everyone has things that they want.

I played through Dragon Age 2 a few times also, and while I was very pleased to see the ability to buy armor upgrades for your companions, I was very saddened by the fact that they didn't change the appearance of their actual armor. I would have liked to see the different upgrades change your companions appearances, even if just in an "upgraded' appearance, such as more color, or cooler looking accessories.

Yes, I am aware of the enormous amount of work it would take to customize the cutscenes, and other varying factors, just so that we can change the armor on our squadmembers/companions, but like I said before, there are some things that people prefer.

I know there are things that are going to be in a game, and other things that surprise me, for the good, and the bad, once a game comes out. I am just adding my two cents in about the things that would make me all the more excited about the game.

Lastly. I have a concern/inquisition about the new weapon system being implemented. In both ME1, and ME2, the pistol was literally useless. Once you leveled up, and started using the high-level Spectre weapons, even untrained squadmates would be doing significantly more damage with an assault rifle than they would with a pistol.

I will be playing as a Soldier in ME3, to follow the tradtion, I suppose. Just speculating that we will still be given 5 weapon slots, I am curious to know if we will be forced to use the same weapons. I can see the advantages for other classes being given the freedom of using other weapons, but for Soldiers, there is no real benefit.

I can see us being able to replace the pistol with an SMG, but 'personally' I'd like to see a blank slate of 5 weapon slots which you can fill with what you want. I'd like the freedom to choose 2 snipers, and 2 assault rifles, and then a heavy weapon, or 1 sniper, 1 assault rifle, 1 shotgun, and 2 heavy weapons, etc...

I would definitely not be very keen on the idea of this change to the game mechanic having little-to-no advantage to the Soldier class, especially if we are forced to still use a pistol.

If you actually read this entire post, I thank, and applaud you. Any comments are welcome.

While there has been no article that I have seen discussing the matter, I imagine that your level, and maybe at least some of your funds and resources will be involved in just how much transfer over to ME3 in the fashion they did with 1 to 2.

Well, I read it, but I'm about to hit the sack so I don't have much to say right now.

I do like the idea of 'weapon slots' as opposed to pre-determined choices. I have a feeling it won't be that way, but it would be nice. Sacrificing having a pistol on hand in order to hold onto two decent assault rifles and so forth; it could be made to work.

One feature I'd like to see in the PC version of the game is Eyefinity.

Dragon Age 2 supported Eyefinity and was absolutely amazing. More and more developers are adding eyefinity support to their games, e.g. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and Deus Ex Human Revolution to name some.

If the Dragon Age team added eyefinity support can't the Mass Effect team as well?

But I think PC Gamers are an after thought when it comes to Mass Effect series. :P I mean no disrespect Bioware, please make ME3 for PC. :D

They say it won't be the standard, save everyone and win scenario, but i kind of want that.
I don't want to sacrifice myself to save humanity, or choose between earth and the citadel, or save myself and destroy earth. I don't know, but i think that after hundreds of hours and 5 years, i just want to win.

We're fighting against a machine race that specializes in wiping out all advanced life in the galaxy. Plus that I think they're attacking the whole galaxy at once, so there might not be much of a chance to save everyone.

Unless someone pulls a deus ex machina out of their ass.

Upload to a site like imageshack or filesmelt, grab the direct link url, post it between [*img][/*img] tags (without the asterisks)

Same way you upload a photo to any other thread. Upload to a website, use image tags, post. Though this probably isn't the place for fanart as it is supposed to be a place to talk about confirmed features.

Can someone enlighten me? It's obvious the fanbase would be annoying you about anything to do with Tali :P

As long as the fan art is closely related to confirmed features, (as in, "simulation" on what we know so far) I don't think there should be a problem.
