I extend this to all the characters that I like. I don't care a whiff if the deaths are appropriate, glorious or whatever. I play to win, not for some weak "rocks fall, XYZ dies" scenario to happen.Robhuzz wrote...
If Liara's death isn't preventable in ME3 I won't even finish the game. I'll put the disk back in the case, put it somewhere in the corner of my room and never think about it again.

Well, if you don't want any spoilers, this is a odd place to be, is it not?

I have said it many times before... so many I cant even count anymore. I do not read this thread. I do not read this thread, I do not read this thread.
The spoilers I keep reffering to come from magazines, blogs, Bioware's interviews and generally the spoilers come from Bioware in every single blog, major site that there is out there about videogames. So I really cannot protect myself anymore from Bioware's spoilers... they release massive spoilers and they offer not even the slightest warning... that is a major sign of either:
a) incompetence , especially when you promised that you would not do the same mistakes you did in ME2 which spoiled pretty much the entire game prior to its release,

You're lucky if she answers you once. There are things about the game that she can't talk about yet, as such she normally ignores any questions about them. So it really depends on what kind of question you throw at her.Jentario wrote...

Spoilers? Lol.
So far they are only telling things that happens at the start of the game. Like, first thirty minutes or something. Maybe an hour. I would hardly count that as spoilers. Man up and quit your whining. Don't want spoilers, don't read any info. Don't even touch it. Don't even think of it.

I have read countless game previews that contain no spoilers whatsoever. Bioware just doesnt know what preview is, that's my conclusion after the charade of the last games...
Bioware also must have a very disturbed image of what spoiler actually means. They give me the impression, that to them spoiler is only the ending of a game, or a character's death. Everything else not.
And you know what, I could possibly avoid any article related with ME3 which I am about to do... but nooo... the titles concerning the news or previews about ME3 have to contain the spoiler with big fat letters, just so you can't miss it... how am I supposed to avoid that?
And anyway Bioware said they would not repeat what happened with ME2.....good work so far... We know the begging of the game in detail, we know there is no romance, we know which towns/planets we will visit, we know which characters will return, who is going to be on our squad, the general plot of the game, all that is left, is the ending.
But E3 is close and they have to show gameplay...so I wouldnt count on that part staying secret for too long... lol...
PS: Some of you guys are defending Bioware waaaayyy too much... sorry if I want to play and experience a game with the element of surprise intact, instead of having everything spoiled in so called "spoiler free" interviews, and article titles...

And yeah, this thread (minus the story section in the OP) is more or less as spoiler-free as it can get. Granted, this is the third part of a triology where we know the characters and the setting already so the only major spoilers left are how to defeat the Reapers and how all the loose ends will be tied up. The exposition and the conflict has already been introduced. Perhaps the only people who will really be in for big surprises are folks who have never played a Mass Effect game before the third one.
Dude, Valkyre, use some common sense. If you don't want to be spoiled, don't go digging for information. Skip the articles about ME3 in those magazines. It's not that hard. Read the OP of this thread if you want information, skip the story-related information (which has it's own page) and you'll be fine. Bioware can't control what you decide to read, that's not their responsibility.

Yeah, that's pretty much everyone have to do if they don't want anything spoiled. And it's pretty easy to avoid such spoilers if the articles have "Mass Effect 3" in the title.

It amazes me why most people actually love all this information comming out and they find this whole thing completely justifiable... I guess you dont care how Mass Effect 3 starts, you dont want to experience it first hand, you prefer to read about it. So when you play the sequence and you are in trial you will be thinking "just a few more seconds and Reapers will attack, I know it, because I read about it". And it is much better than knowing nothing about it and be surprised like hell when it happens.
Well...have fun reading the game instead of playing it...no wonder Bioware spoils the hell out of its games...you people love it...
