And it'd be even nicer if they would have the ones that are actually equipped.Someone With Mass wrote...
I hope I can do the same with squadmates, or at least be able to give everyone assault rifles, since they love to have them in cutscenes.

This would sort out the magical assault rifles summoned out of thin air problem

Not sure if this concerns anyone else but I found ME:2 to be rather short. Once we are able to obtain the IFF, I fully expected a long battle while trying to gain access to the Collector base instead of what actually happened. To me, it felt like the game worked so much to build up the end battles that it just finished too quickly.
Perhaps I'm reading too much into this.

I wonder how they will make soldier unique now that everyone can use any weapon. Just having 4 slots for weapons as opposed to 3 or 2 is not good enough in my opinion.
