I was just pointing out that regardless of whether they implement vehicles for ME3, a 'promise' with room for uncertainty isn't really much of a promise, since there is no way it could possibly be broken. If it was me, I would probably have a category for 'developer quotes' or something instead of 'promises', but I think what you've done is fine.

Thanks for your contribution, and you definitely have a point, I think that I'll rephrase it as soon as I get some time. ;) (aka tomorrow)

I guess this spells the end of the ME series after ME3. I was hoping for a ME4 after considering how well the series are doing so far D;

Actually, nope. I believe that BW has said that they want to expand the universe even further.

Oh then that's very interesting xD Thank you.

How about decision the player made in Mass Effect 1 have no effect in Mass Effect 2 but have a effect in Mass Effect 3. For example in 'Bring Down The Sky' what decision you made in that have effect in Mass Effect 3. How about Corporal Tombs. I know he sent out a memo in Mass Effect2, will he chasing Shepard in Mass Effect 3?

My main hopes:

- Recruitment. I think it should be a best of series.

- Assuming you had the best outcomes in both games: Ashley/Kaidan (pending on who lives), Miranda, Tali, Garrus, Legion, Liara, Jack, Grunt should all be featured. Or, if they HAVE to introduce any new companions...

- Love interests. Your love interest should be a squad made, whether its your ME1 or your ME2 one. Give it a climatic ending, awesome continuation etc.

- A bit more in length. ME2 was awesome, and I see it as a transition. ME3 needs to be extra long, its the final chapter.

I wouldn't, personally, want too much recruiting, ME2 was all about that.

i would at least like to have liara as a party memeber in at least a couple missions i know she's the new SB and all bur it would be kind of cool to add her to your party towards the end but please no recuitment mission after another i liked the recrutiment missions but after having a string of them one after another it gets kind of repetitive

That may be why Feron is there, to pick up the slack when she does join Shep.  I'd actually like her to be the quest giver for most of the game, but join the party in the 4th act.

Yeah, my quote was general, I totally agree with you. I don't feel the need of new squadmates. Although I'm sure Bioware will put up some new guys, the crew should be the same of ME2... we recruited them in the first 2 games, now let's put an end to this mess! ò_ò

Shepard have enough problems awaiting for a resolution XD

I think that if they are going to add any crew mates we should get a Raloi squadie, just because they seem awsome.

I have a feeling most of the 'recruiting' will be replaced with 'convincing.' For example, you go to Omega and do missions for Aria to convince her to put her power and forces behind your mission to save Earth.

And again:

"ME3 will have a multiplayer component." Shall fall under the popular but dismissed rumors. It was dismissed officially, unofficially, personally, on the news, on the net, even on CNN and BCC headlines.

You got it, anywoo if there is a war in an RPG you gotta gather forces (Fable, DA: O, Star Wars KOTOR, Fallout - new vegas).
Btw I don't mind using the same formula as long as the game is good "cliches" are welcome.

Hope they won't screw everything by putting the heart as the center of the war just because shepard is a human :D It would sound racist.

The person who dismissed it recently was not a Bioware employee (unfortunately)

Actually I have to change that. Brendon Holmes says that it's not the same engine (as in the ME3 engine will be further modified), but it shares the same tech.

Mass Effect 3 will be the end of Shepard's story.  Bioware has said before that they do intend to go beyond his story.

Too bad about the multiplayer. I had hoped they would jump off the bandwagon a bit for ME3.

I know some may not like the idea of multi-player in Mass Effect 3, but I was on the Bungie forums, and I opened a thread about Mass Effect 3, and the OP had a idea for it, its not perfect, but its an idea.
"Mass Effect multiplayer. This would be a great idea. But it would have to be on a completely seperate disc. Why? So then we still have that expansive world and that long and epic story.

To power up our guy for multiplayer would be a little different from most games. Here's what I want...
Everything that your Commander Shepard is wearing all the way up to power ups and guns will be in multiplayer. So let's say you are a biotic in the story. You will also be a biotic in multiplayer.
Everything that your commander Shepard has (gender, armor, guns, power-ups, face, etc.) will be transfered over to multiplayer."
Quoted from TopWargamer (his username on Bungie, and his xbl tag)

In the same thread they did point out some flaws with it, but I wanted you all to see his idea

I also can't wait for this game, I am fine without multi-player, but if they have it it should not take away from the story or have negative effects on it.

And I came to support my idea.
=)
The reason why I didn't post this first is because I forgot that I had a Bioware account. lol.
