Thanks for your contribution, and you definitely have a point, I think that I'll rephrase it as soon as I get some time.--Master of All-- wrote...
I was just pointing out that regardless of whether they implement vehicles for ME3, a 'promise' with room for uncertainty isn't really much of a promise, since there is no way it could possibly be broken. If it was me, I would probably have a category for 'developer quotes' or something instead of 'promises', but I think what you've done is fine.(aka tomorrow)
Actually, nope. I believe that BW has said that they want to expand the universe even further.Demyx_IX wrote...
I guess this spells the end of the ME series after ME3. I was hoping for a ME4 after considering how well the series are doing so far D;
Oh then that's very interesting xD Thank you.
Mass Effect 3 will be the end of Shepard's story. Bioware has said before that they do intend to go beyond his story.
Yes but It doesn't neccasry mean the end of the series. Just the end of Shepard's story.

Personally, I feel Earth would be too mundane a place to end it and a bit too self important if it's the only place that the reaper attack. It becomes a bit too much like Halo that way.

I think they should have the Reapers wipe out Earth in the beggining. Then a disorganized and depressed, knowing his species is on the verge of extinction, must fight his way with the alien races to protect his species survival and the rest of the galaxies. How ever the Reapers have to big of a fleet to be able to save all worlds at once, so you must choose which planets and aliens will survive and which will be utterly destroyed. But that's my oppinion/idea probibly wouldn't happen. But a damn good idea, if you ask me.Half_Moon wrote...
Do you think Earth is going to be like the collector base in ME2?

This is why I think a Mass Effect MMO would be amazing. The amount of diversity in races, classes, the entire ME universe leaves a helluva lot of room for customization and character creation.

I am personally not a big fan of MMO games, I would like it to be a single player story in which you can chose your species and such, then have a multiplayer like Halo's with all the customizatino options.EpicGamerMonkey wrote...

If ME3 has some sort of multiplayer feature, I think this will be the most likely outcome.
I was just saying that because ME's universe is so open, there's a lot of room for plenty of more games to come, and with ME's RPG elements, an MMO wouldn't be too far-fetched.

as for the single player, i think they should make the piloting the Normandy more.. entertaining, such as ship to ship combat, a bit like in the game Star Trek Legacy.
but im very excited about ME3 and if that Uber Collectors Edition does come out, i will be all over it!
thanks Bioware!

And there is a good chance that some choices we might have made in ME2 related to the geth might have some changes in the ME3.

Actually I have to change that. Brendon Holmes says that it's not the same engine (as in the ME3 engine will be further modified), but it shares the same tech.
Wait what? What'd I miss?

Nice, great news!
Terrible news. I don't want to be rushed in my gaming.
I like to take in everything during the conversations, not be hurrying to make a choice to give me the illusion of "panic".

I can see this used in the context of certain situations....

I agree. But I think it'll be more like in ME2 with Renegade/ Paragon decisions. Sometimes during the cutscenes depening on what you picked and how fast you were the outcome changed a little. I'd like more of this as opposed to the decisions.

I only hope they have more weapon choices than in Mass Effect 2, but Mass Effect 1 may have had a little to many.
Exactly what I said to my friend the other day.
These "timed decisions". Is that like "Do this before such and such a time or you will fail? If so I'm not sure I like it. I know trying to save the universe and everything. But I always like the do what you want when you want was always good about Mass effect.

i would really love to see a greater music supported gaming in ME3.
ME1 music had a greater quality and quantity from ME2 imo.
and for me, good music is a great deal for a game so epic like that.
If MMO mode is true, then I just can't wait for multiplayer experience.
I only hope the server system wont be based on best available like CoD, its very boring. I'd love to be given a good variety of choices...

It doesn't look like they are completely wiping them out either, otherwise they'd just have to attack the planet from orbit.
Something else is definitely going on. Cerberus MIGHT have something to do with it but I highly doubt the Illusive Man makes a deal with the Reapers.
