Just a quick question: When they say that squad weapons can be selected and customized, does that imply we can select which TYPES of weapons squadmates can wield?
For instance, could we replaced Tali's pistol with an assault rifle? Or will she always have a pistol and shotgun, each of which can be customized?
More like customize the mods and parts like shepard can, so ME2 style with customization

Can we ask if we can get a melee damaged Shepard? If Shep takes too much CQC damage, he/she will get bruised and bloodied for the rest of that mission. That would be cool.
I love that idea, but I dob't think they'll do it.

So they've confirmed that the game will be split into "Missions"? No one else found the "Mission complete" screens in mass effect 2 to be detract from the immersiveness?
Mass Effect was always split into missions and assignments, but yeah that mission complete screen needs to go.

And as long as the list isn't bugged too.Someone With Mass wrote...
As long as I can be reminded of what I picked up during the mission, I don't care what they do with that screen.

I'd prefer a debriefing cutscene like in Mass Effect 1 - it allows for more squad interaction as well. It could just end with someone handing Shep a datapad with the reminder of what you picked up.
I really like this idea.

I LOVED the ME1 debriefs and would like it if that was brought back...it would be consistent with the smaller squadmate pool and more interaction with squadmates that they are going for in ME3.

Unit cohesion was definitely missing in ME2, you didn;t see everyone in the same room until the suicide mission.
But when you did - way awesome. I really felt like everyone was working together. They should do more of that in ME3. With that kind of feel - where you assign people do different tasks and have them help out when they aren't in your squad.

Jzadek.... I agree. ME1 debriefs were great. I would have loved more interaction with the crew... even if a random squad mate handed me the datapad or gave their 2 cents

But Miranda sense she is a negotiating type of personality will not only get the colony to hand over rescourses to you as thanks for your assistance she would've also solved their problem and given you a report on the matter. You could choose anyone for the job and it wouldn't be based however they did the SM sense their characters personalities as well as the strengths and weaknesses they showed throughout ME - ME2 give us clues as to whom would work.
For instance in ME2 I chose Samara for SM 2nd team leader she is qualified she has over 400yrs of life experience she was once a merc she is now a justicar thats alot of fighting experience sure she did solo but she commands respect and her attitude says do what I say or else great for leading people but BW didnt' think so they decide for some reason she was out but her resume says otherwise the system I stated above this paragraph would take into account her known past and say she is qualified for diplomatic, aggressive, and passive issues she however wouldn't be good at say posing as a drug dealer in order to nail the gang pushing the drugs she'd slaughter everyone on sight so she wouldn't do well in an undercover assignment but Jack might.
The situation and set up would be what the players use to determine who to send. The request tell you what they need and you as the player need to think about what circumstances they may run into and what would be the key skills necessary to complete the task is it negotiations a good talker and strong personality maybe needed, if its undercover work you need someone who can react on the fly to changing situations, is it search and rescue you'll need someone who can use stealth but can also fight well with a small group , is the request for information gathering you'll need someone who knows how to find things through all means they may be going door to door or be online or hacking terminals the person(s) selected must be able to adapt and they must be someone strangers will talk to, ect
I would also like squad banter that will not only bring shep into the conversation but also if two sqadmates are friends they'll talk like that if they aren't they'll talk like it, sometimes they'll joke, other times they'll tease, and sometimes they'll just be itching to fight the person next to them. I'd also like to see LI conversation like I love in DA when you start dating Alistair and if you have Wynn with you she'll tease him about where his eyes are falling on your character and he gets all flustered and it's quite a hilarious situation when she says, " And just what wisdom did you find in our Wardens swaying hips?" I love how these two keep having a grandmother/ mom and son sort of relationship where as him and Mornith usually left him feeling like he was getting his head smashed in.

I am also really concerned about Conrad Varner (spelling??). He was sad in ME1, Disturbing in ME2 and now that I know he is gonna be in ME3, I just want to kill him.
Vanguard Charge is one of my fav attacks. I am so glad it is staying (I hope). I wish they would get rid of pull or at least give you the option to remove it. It never worked for me even though it was supposed to go behind cover and around corners. I just reaved and charged instead. It was better to watch the enemies writhe in pain as I drained their lives.
Whatever happens, I am both excited and sad. ME3 is the end.

I do not think there will be 'mission complete' screen this time, since Casey Hudson said they want to achieve seamless loading, I do not see how 'mission complete' screen will happen in mass effect 3

Adrenaline rush seemed overpowered, not more than charge or stealth, of course, but easiest to handle.
I am curious on informations about new skill concepts.

Any word on Soldier skills? Reintroducing weapon mods removes most likely also the ammo "powers" (thus becoming again a more consistent world).

Concussion Shot can be combined with some of the ammo powers, like Cryo Ammo to add that effect to the shot.

I am really concerned about the "bloated" Asari...I don't like the implications...especially if their tummies explode and little evil Asari midgets of death swarm and overwhelm me. (eg: deadspace) <snip snip>
