Eh. Alright. Makes enough sense with the sniper thing, I guess. But it's still... less useful. It works only for a specific situation.

It needs more tweaks for it to be like 'huh, this is interesting, I should consider putting points into this instead of Incendiary or AP ammo!'

AP ammo. *hugs it*

AP ammo doesn't worth it.
It's only 10% better then Incendiary ammo.
Warp ammo is far superior because it also effects Barrier.

It's only 10% better on paper.  In practice, Tungsten Ammo kills faster than Inferno ammo.  When an enemy gets hit with an Inferno round, he takes the bonus damage over a period of 3 seconds.  That 3 seconds gets reset every time the effect is activated so, by and large, inferno ammo does very little total bonus damage to health.  Put another way, you never have multiple "take 60% bonus damage over three seconds" debuffs running at once.  When a badguy takes a hit from an inferno round, the current debuff is canceled and a new one started.  When using full auto weapons like the Revenant, this means actual health damage inflicted by inferno ammo's bonus is negligible.  Not so with AP ammo.

With all that said, I still prefer inferno ammo for the crowd control effects and, like AP, it's pretty awesome against armor only enemies like scions, since armor takes the damage from inferno ammo instantly instead of over time.  But, frankly, it sucks compared to AP ammo against health for pure damage.  I'm just of the opinion that the fire dance crowd control effect is more immediately useful than the elevated health damage, but I can also easily see how others might not agree with that.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure it'll end as a MMO

I should probably make a big E3 thread tomorrow. I'll set up a live chat as well. Any other suggestions?

"Yep we have a big pre-E3 special next Thurs, June 2 on SPIKE. Tons of big premieres...will try to start sharing details tomorrow."

Perhaps they might put in something about the ME3 preview event he went to see last week?

I thought there wouldn't be any pre-E3 material...

I have no interest in an MMO myself, but if it generates profit they can use to make another TPS/RPG trilogy, I'm ok with it.  One thing that I like about Mass Effect is the single player, story driven aspect.  MMO is about my least favorite genre of video games and, if they were the only video games being made, I'd take up other hobbies.

I'm thinking more along the lines of the interviews:

twitter.com/#!/CaseyDHudson/status/71413569786347520
How were the interviews? can you tell us where/when we should look for these

"Interviews went great! These were in support of #E3 coverage so they'll be out around then."

Don't take this as a confirmation just as a big MAYBE

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also For Phaedon:

http://twitter.com/#...856445782831106

"Thanks for responding to that. I wonder if you can tell us if its version 3.5? Thanks!"

@_Vertigo_1 "I'm not sure the Epic version number of what we're using. It's extremely cutting edge though."

Mass Effect 3 should bring a climatic conclusion to the saga. I just can't wait to get my hands on this game. If you haven't played the other two games in the series you are missing out on an incredible franchise. If you are a hardcore gamer, you should buy Mass Effect 3!

A lot! But classics never cease to be funny (I still play the Original Unreal for instance)... Say otherwise and the Skaarj here dies!

Normally, I'd say thirded, but SW:TOR actually looks to be quite interesting, what with it's story-based gameplay. I'll see how they pull off that before I make judgement about a Mass Effect MMO.

I hate RTSs mostly, as I think they arn't fun at all, but I also really dislike MMOs since they are extremly addictive and don't have a story. But I'll have to wait and see before I make judgements.

I was wanting a Kotor 3 over an MMO. I am with the people who dont like MMOs because MMOs are the most repetitive game genre I have ever seen. Get me 5 bone pieces for 100xp from those monsters over in the fields. MMOs are only good to pass the time to the next great game too, once the next major release has come out its pretty much time to put the MMO up.
Real games like Mass Effect series tend to only get repetitive because you keep replaying the game nothing to the level of repetitiveness MMOs have.

But cant wait for E3, I am getting all tinglely inside as it gets closer lol. Cant wait for more info on ME3

I really think SW:TOR is going to suck.

I never liked MMOs, but I really think it's going to suck, like for everybody.

mmo's have a story but there are 2 things to remember about them 1) they usually aren't that good (like the Warcraft lore is pretty ****ty and Im pretty sure the only reason its around is thanks to the RTS' being good mechanicly) and 2) its not a conventional telling of a story. you have to think of it like a single player game where multiple people are playing through the same story at the same time.

also an MMO of ME could probably work but the only downside to it is that the gear you get wouldn't be able to have much flare to it (probably will also be a draw back on the SW:TOR as well) like most "medival/fantasy" mmo's are able to pull of since its military type of stuff.

Well that doesn't matter, because if gear and grinding do become the main focus, I'm not interested. I'm only going to keep playing if it's basis is in story.

Dunno.

It probably isn't a real value, though.

Probably not. Perhaps more descriptions with different words, but I think they want to save their gunpowder for E3.

Phaedon, in the OP under the promises section, you have a note about "non-romance interactions to be breaking the mold," which is linked to this tweet as its source. The tweet linked is about squad armor customization and so it is hardly relevant to what the piece of info says. Consider revising.
