I got that issue the only thing new I got from it was that the ME3 Shepard will be your ME2 import shepard and will start with the poweres at level and weapons, which I assume includes heavy weapons and DLC weapons? Other than that I didn't get anything new from that article.Someone With Mass wrote...
Probably not. Perhaps more descriptions with different words, but I think they want to save their gunpowder for E3.SergeySW wrote...

"Yes, loading screeens in ME2 didnt work quite as intended. Ideally in #ME3 we'll avoid most of them with better cinematic flow."
Something to add perhaps?
Didn't have any problems with the loading screens, but good to see that it's getting a tuneup too.
If you want to see in-game loading done well look at Dead Space 2. There was one sequence in particular where they managed to seamlessly shift between levels after one particularly insane boss fight that saw you hurtling through space only to smash through a window starting off the next chapter.
If they can achieve things like that then I'm all for it.
I doubt they're going to go for ME1's static stand here in place while we load since it sounds like they're focusing on making the game completely seamless.

What I'm interested in is the Concussion shot taking on ammo powers. Essentially, if you have the right ammo, you now have the tech equivalent. Cryo ammo=Cryo blast, Inferno ammo=Incinerate, Disruptor ammo=Overload, Warp ammo=Warp, AP and Shredder ammo=... no equivalent powers but both could be interesting. That's right, solly is even better, yo.
Soldier is now an even better all around class, helll with that new ability I reckon most people won't even bother with other classes since they aren't really missing anything anymore.
Except Charge maybe.

They miss out on all the crowd control elements of the other classes, which is the real reason to play them surely

Techi = fire smack
Adept = something that stuns multiple enemies
The rest is unknown... Speculation:
Soldier = some sort of Krogan like charge maybe
Vanguard = maybe Charge will be specified as the melee?
Infiltrator = an overloading shield burst?
Sentinal = I have absolutely no idea.

Except that Soldier is boring as hell, and requires no tactics whatsoever.

Oh yes. This is amazing news. That **** irritated me to no end in ME1-2.
Commander Shepard! Legendary badass! Saved the Citadel! Murdered three Reapers! Can't run for more than ten feet without getting all huffy.

Another game that did in-game loading well was the Darkness. The loading screens were basically cutscenes where Jackie would talk about stuff from his past and his thoughts on the games events.InvaderErl wrote...

...Interesting, but unfitting for ME3. We got no time to talk, the Reapers are wrecking everything!

Have we gotten actual gameplay footage of the "demo" yet? I thought I heard something about it being previewed for certain people in a pre-E3 meeting or somesuch.
Nope. Those reviews are probably gonna get released after/during E3!

The speed of the game is 20% better supposedly, the lack of fatigue is probably one of the most contributng factors to that.BlueDemonX wrote...
Hell, no fatigue?! Yeah! But don´t rejoice just yet, I bet there are some other little tweaks that cancel this, like your enemies being able to do it as well :DD

I always got slightly annouyed in ME2 that Shepard could never run very far without taking a breather. Even with that gear and running at the half pace that he does, i can tell because i learnt how to run properly to gain speed, he should last atleast 10 seconds while running - no matter what gear he has on, unless it's extremely heavy which i doubt.
The reason for 10 seconds is because we humans can run for roughly 10 seconds without taking in any oxygen.
After the initial run, it usually takes us between 30 seconds to a minute or two, depending on your fitness, before we can run for 10 seconds again without taking in oxygen. But with adrenaline on the battlefield, i would think that they would be recovering almost 1.5 times as fast, as twice as fast seems unlikely - i studied P.E extensively, not to a degree leve, but i know enough
If the player tries to run before he can recover, the player could move at a slower rate and his 10 second sprint could take longer to regenerate.
If they implement this in game, then i will be happy that his physic feels more real in game.
