Well yeah but that also means we can have a taste of ME3 look-and-feel before launch date.

Doesn't really use ME3s engine, just parts.Rayken wrote...

Will we notice any real diffrence? I was about to get ME2 for PC when I heard it was coming out for PS3. On one hand I have ME for PC and would love to play through ME again and fully import a character (I have lost my first playthroughs so I would need to start agian).
On the other hand PS3 does come with that nifty fill in the blanks comic... making an ME playthrough for the import ALMOST not worthwhile.
It's a close call in my mind, this could tip me in either direction!

It will be different from the PC version in some ways, no doubt. From what i've heard on the forums, some parts of the PS3 version looks better, other parts look worse. If i'm not wrong, the PC version has a more agreeable lighting system. But i guess it's all up to your opinion. Me? I recommend the PC as you get to import ME1 saves

Well, the PC version will have the comic as well once it is released. Also you can always download import saves from the web for the PC version.

Apologies if this has been posted, but Christina Norman stated on her Twitter that they're looking to expand combat in ME3, and that the Vanguard charge "will definitely be in ME3".

Sorry, for that, I was away for a day or so, I'll add it.

* More RPG features and complex enemies will be included. [7]
* Conversations will be more cinematic. (If they'll be even MORE cinematic than they already are...WOW!)
* Vehicle Based Exploration is currently considered and might return in ME3. (Only if it's better than the Mako or Hammerhead!)
* Vanguard charge will 'definitely' be in ME3. I LOVED the biotic charge. It made the vanguard worth playing.
* LotSB may have set the standards for ME3, gameplay and dialogue-wise. (Good, yet slightly worrisome simply because, while great and entertaining and very cinematic, it, as one reviewer had pointed out, was not as 'game-like' in that you didn't really have a choice or choices like in the rest of the game. You couldn't really affect the outcome in anything. Even the interrupts were just additional conversations--not actions that could drastically change a situation. You were more an observer like with movies than a player creating her/his own story.)
* ME3 may have timed decisions (YES! That will be...wow. I mean, I love spending all of my time completing things, taking my time...but this will get my ass moving because it MEANS something and will give the story and the consequences that much more significance and meaning.)

By that I actually meant the semi-destructible environment, the new character models and textures, the cinematic dialogue, the direction of combat, the more cinematic movement of the camera etc. It was a DLC, not too many choices could be made.* LotSB may have set the standards for ME3, gameplay and dialogue-wise. I hope to see this as well. First Time I played me2 I didn't take the time to upgrade everything and lost someone, don't remember who. From then on I, I always bought everything. But what if you really don't have the time to upgrade everything? It will make for a better game if you really can't get to save everyone if you don't complete some things in time....

The 'Promises'? Well, this thread will probably be locked once ME3 will be released, and I don't like to complain too much. I have had mini-projects of my own, and I know that if something doesn't work, it doesn't. Obsessing over 'OMG they lied' is not my style either. I guess that this thread, even locked will be a good resource for people looking forward into doing constructive criticism. Unfortunately, people will just use these sources to rant, too, but what can we do?Mister Mida wrote...
So Phaedon, are you also gonna keep tabs on wether Bioware actually delivered on all the stuff that you've listed here?

Oh, I am pretty much OK with this. I'll propably abandon ship during the last week to avoid major spoilers,though.FieryPhoenix7 wrote...
The only trouble you're facing, Phaedon, is the fact that you're going to have to expose yourself to as many spoilers as possible. Unless, of course, that's something you're totally fine with. XD

The only constructive criticism I can think of is this: Don't make statements in the press and expect people to forget them or not to remind you of them. It's a mistake Bioware has made many times (bridging DLC for ME (1), Bioware Bazaar for outside the US and two years of DLC for DA: O).Phaedon wrote...
