Speaking of the ME3 page @ EAStore
This part in the description has me thinking maybe we have the option of going solo without squadmates?

"Utilize your squad to full effect or take a lone wolf approach."

Wow. Full description:happy:

The description sounded sexy as hell :P

Too bad, guys. Mac Walters has already decided humanity is super extra-special and the Reapers primarily want us. Stop them at Earth to save the galaxy. That's it!

I didn't don't even give a f*ck about the humans in Mass Effect! We have tons of 'Save the Earth' games already. I would want to save the galaxy instead. <_<

I doubt it. It's mentioned in the section regarding "tactics in combat," where they're saying stuff like "fight with guns or with melee" and "charge in with mobility or use cover." The "lone wolf approach" is probably regarding whether you want to command and depend on your squad, or just fight in the front by yourself like a tank. That would be my guess, since it would be weird to switch up the formula in the third game.

That's my guess.

His armor has changed a lot...what the hell is that thing?

I don't know if that's awesome or stupid.

Except for the fact we already know they are attacking the Turian homeworld and the Krogan homeworld.

I think it's the Engineer's special melee attack.

Either that, or other classes will use something similar as well.

Deadly stupid, if it really IS the case. The omnitool as represented in the game is only an interface. I'm not sure how (as in positively certain) a non-physical object could do any physical damage.

The only interesting thing about this seems to be Bioware's definition of  "awesome" is to butcher continuity in their own universe. Reminds me of another famous sci-fi series... *cough* Lucas *cough*

Not interested in saving humans, I don't even like them that much.

How about pyjaks? Let's save the pyjaks. They seem like a civilized lot.

Reminds me a bit of Vega or Wolverine. Are you sure that pic hasn't been tampered with? Because that looks really weird.

EDIT: Or could the slashy bit be a Reaper entering the Earth's atmosphere?

Why are people complaining again about only saving Earth? The description is talking about a galactic war, fighting on planets around the galaxy. Obviously, the final mission has to more specific than save the galaxy, so save the Earth in order to save the galaxy makes sense as it gives an epic finale to what will be for some people over 100 hours of story.

And for this 'humans are special' thing, think about this - Earth falls. In the opening of the game. Humanity cannot win on their own, you're having to unite the entire galaxy to take it back.

And yes, saving the Earth has been done before - but I can't remember any good stories where the Earth has already fallen. Normally humanity gets close to falling before some miracle happens and they repel the invaders. In ME3, the first thing that happens is Earth falls. You have to abandon it to get help. I'm pretty sure that story hasn't been that many times.

It probably goes without saying that failing to stop the Reapers means the annihilation of all sentient life in the galaxy, buzz lines be damned.

I kind of agree, but you've got to admit Shep's armour in that cover does look pretty badass.

I don't have or really want kinect, but at the end of the day seeing as the release date was pushed back, if that was because of kinect, then that should mean instead of cutting out other stuff to add it in they just extended the dev time, which is cool with me.

It's not fake, just a placeholder.

Also, why does everyone say that this is a blade? Pretty sure that it's a Reaper or whatever those orange things are.
