Shouldn't it be "in another castle"?
Option 1: Slay the dragon and get the princess
Option 2: Spare the dragon and get the princess
Option 3: Let the dragon eat you and the princess
Option 4: Bribe the dragon to get the princess
Option 5: *trollface*

But still:
granades return, old weapons from ME2 return...everything looks great except for that squad decision...But I have faith in Bioware.

The one you have currently is confusing and lacks suspense.

I'm liking the sound of the revised combat. Combat solely based on cover can get boring.
As the article said, sitting in the same spot during the whole fight isn't exactly super fun.

Yeah, I remember your countdown, I had to remove it, because from the looks of it, it is configured based on your PC's computer.Jentario wrote...

Main squad reduced. Looks like the squad is much bigger than both of the games, overall. The temp squadmate idea is very interesting.
You mean the temporary squadmates and permanent ones combined?
Cool.

Seems like a handy tool though. In surprise CQC situations, you can kill someone quickly without using AR ammo or spending time switching to a shotgun. Me gusta.

Sorry Main squad reduced. Okay it is just me but i kinda liked full normandy SR-2. Yes temp squadmate idea is interesting but I hope they dont go crazy with it ( like 6 main squad members and other just temp). Having Mordin aboard gave me this feeling you know like its great to have a scientist to help you out. So from my point of view he IS necessary on the Normandy (or maybe Alliance will decide to get rid of the lab).

I don't know, man.
I've always preferred quality over quantity. I wouldn't want the whole "lotsa temp squadmates" thing to mean less screen time for the regular companions. Because less screen time equals less dialogue. Less dialogue equals less character development. Less character development equals I RAGE.
So yeah, I'm on the fence.

I have proof in that 30 page thread in which you just started making things up (some where during page 27 or 28). Perhaps I missed it, but who made the "broken lore" claim as you state? Because anybody who has played ME1 knows that thermal clips are heatsinks because it replaced the "unlimited heatsink" design system of ME1. (But it just happens to get call it ammo because that is how it behaves and was designed to mimic.)Phaedon wrote...
Oh wait, unless you have evidence to prove that I did so, this is a personal attack with no content.Murmillos wrote...
How does the above prove your point that you were weren't making up lies and ignoring other established lore points in that thread. Oh wait, thats the Phaedon maneuver side of stepping the issue.
The main "broken lore" claim was that thermal clips were not heatsinks. Because you know, heatsinks being replaced by heatsinks is pretty believable I think.
Your behavior is very aggressive and uncalled for. I won't report you just so that you can reconsider some things and don't end up as another classic BSN ****poster.
But honestly, if you did not play ME1, how could you not mistaken ME2 thermal clips for being "ammo"? Unless you somehow did happen to take the time to understand how ME1 worked in the first place.

I hate involving myself in these pointless debates, but I felt the need to point out that "that 30-page thread where you just started making things up" isn't very helpful as a citation. I never thought the addition of thermal clips was a huge problem lore-wise (ME2 takes place two years after ME1, so a few little technological advancements here and there wouldn't be entirely unexpected), but that's just my opinion.
Back on topic, my Adept gets a psionic blade melee attack? Sweet! I'm still waiting to find out what the Infiltrator will get for a melee attack, though. Probably not concealed blades because that sounds kind of like what the Soldier's getting. I'm kind of hoping my Infiltrator will be able to pull off a Thane-style neck-snap, but we'll see...
I don't object to a smaller main squad augmented with temporary squadmates as long as those temporary squadmates get to take us on some awesome missions, and especially as long as we still get to have meaningful relationships (romantic or platonic) with our old squad buddies.
Edited for spelling and for staying-on-topic-ness
