23rd May.- Casey Hudson promises new tech that allows for longer hair, though no the hairstyles aren't done yet
Ok, reading this just made my day/week/month or whatever.
Can't wait for ME3, but also, you know, take your time because this just keeps getting better and better.
PS: Slightly worried/wondering if this will be available for imported Sheps - because mine will throw a hissy fit if not. She'll be like: "Screw Earth. Where's my damn weave? I cannot work like this." Yeah, she's a bit of a diva.

"Will imported Shepard be able to change hairstyle and minor stuff like that for change in appearance so-to-speak?"
"That's the plan. After a few years, it's probably time for a new hair cut."

In a few months the entire game will be posted in a magazine and deeply analysed. BW suck at keeping their mouths shut.

Is there a reason more and more spoilers are being leaked, 1 year before the actual release, when BW said they were going to heavily cut back on the leaked spoilers?

Well, to be fair, this is going to be E3, and so Bioware cannot just rehash the same demo/preview over and over again. Since this is the biggest gaming event of the year, and literally thousands of the public, press and regular people included, will be at E3, they want to see something new, and that inevitably leads to spoilers.

Concerning the recent change of sticky status of the Confirmed Features thread, I have the following observations to make.
Out of the Confirmed Features and the Dev Promises themselves, most of them are based on direct quotes from the developers, while a few are also the product of EA marketing releases and video game journalists who were invited in press preview sessions.(A more detailed list is easy to make)
The Rumours section itself explicitly states that the following information has "little to no basis" and that fans should not "get their hopes up". Therefore, all of the information in the thread has either been confirmed, or the thread itself states that they are not "confirmed". Changes in development are understandable and we will be more than happy to update our thread accordinly, in the case that we learn overlapping information over a subject, however the Canadian Customer Rights, who heavily condemn misrepresentation combined with the facts that from day one we have stated that everything can be changed until the last minute (we actually included a quote of yours stating that, although we were never requested to do so), will unfortunately have us to ask to reconsider your decision, or at least the grounds behind it. If there are still any incorrect sources or features, then I will have to ask you to point out which, in order to protect, once again, the consumer from the misrepresentantion caused by Bioware staff and/or third parties.
The thread has been a product of multiple invested hours, painstaking research, the collection of 91 idividual sources, 30 or so contributors, and has significantly helped in keeping the forumites up to date, and answering frequently asked questions. It's twitter is informing more than 1630 followers more than once per day. And you will allow me to say that it is one of the very few examples of what this social network's community is capable of.
We are looking forward to your new directions in order to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
Sincerelly,
the Confirmed Features thread contributors.
What do you think?

"and video game journalists who were invited in press preview sessions."
This is where I think certain things shouldn't be included in "confirmed features". Journalists sometimes are....less than exact.
And the 2nd part: "(or should I say wasted, seeing the final result?),"
This seems...too barbed and personal for it to belong in this letter, in my mind. I know it's offended you that Priestly unstickied it, but the best way to proceed is by taking everything in stride.
And worst comes to worst, in a week after E3 the thread will be back and stickied

Thanks for the feedback. I am not really, offended, rather annoyed, I have no issues with Chris or anyone on Bioware.
Concerning the journalist part, maybe I should suggest having them in another section if that's a problem?

This thread and the collective work to support it has greatly helped the whole forum, and is an invaluable resource, so as far as I'm concerned, once the ME3 boards are up, I'll migrate this thread there and keep it stickied, provided Mr. P doesn't swack me on the head .Phaedon wrote...
Wait, so we can get restickied when the ME3 Boards are up?

And yeah, I think it's important to filter what are exact developer quotes and what are journalist quotes. Devs always choose their wording, because they're under contracts. Journalists are under far less strict contracts, and being journalists, sensational news always garners more readers.

Maybe it happened because some of the stuff under 'Confirmed features' and 'Dev promises' might ultimately be not in the game and could upset some people (imagine "Hey you guys at BW said that <insert feature> would be in ME3, so WTH is it?!?" threads cropping up after launch) ?

Do you remember ending of Grunt's loyalty mission ? When you're heading back to Normandy, EDI tell's you that one of Krogan females requested breeding with Shepard. Who knows, maybe it was that Princess and now she's going to get Shep laid?
Krogan Princess lol
