Exactly. Phaedon could simply just copy-paste the whole OP into the new thread and continue from there. No need to retype and redo everything.Uszi wrote...

Possibly. It's just a rumour that I thought that was interesting to add.Flamewielder wrote...
@OP regarding returning squadmates:
You'll notice the source is careful not to name any specific squaddies and implies some will not return (as squaddies). To me, it strongly suggests a return of the VS, which most of us supspected all along, at the expense of the (potentially deceased) ME squaddies.
Mind you, I can very well envision all surviving squaddies being used as "temp squaddies" like Liara on LotSB. The downside being that such "temp squaddies" show little or no aknowledgement of your current squaddies.
@Everyone else
Perhaps. GDC won't be here until March. There may be a few things to add till then, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.
Feel free to vote on this poll too.
Regardless of what happens, I don't exactly love the current format of the OP. So yeah, if you have any ideas or suggestions, please post them now.

Yes, keep updating it.: 83%(24 votes)
No, it's not worth it. Just make a new thread when we have new ME3 boards/more info is released.
17%(5 votes)
I'll keep updating it then. I'll change the OP's format a lot during the weekend.

In Rumor section -> ME3 will have a multiplayer component. [13] --> How about this Mass Effect will be single-player game. My point is that one rumor isn't better than other, when both are equal valid rumors. Also we have no base for that the MP rumor, because it started because Bioware was wanting game developers what can do multiplayer features. But it does tell us to what game? It can be even totally ME unrelated and be some other Biowares game in future. My point again is that this rumor isn't valid anyore or if you think it's still valid, then the counter rumor is equal valid too and should be stated, so that listing would not missleads people to false hopes.

Some of what I see in the list I like, but the biggest thing that stood out for me was, in the rumor's section number [19] ME3 may have timed decisions. I really didn't like this feature in Alpha Protocol to me it made everything feel rushed story wise and I only kept the game for a short time cause of it and other issues. I say stick with what they have with the wheel no timer and the paragon/renegade interrupts that are timed.
Yeah, I don't like that kind of pressure in a game either. Timed decisions are a bad idea who like to sit back and enjoy the game. "Twitch Gamers" might enjoy it. But they should stick to the way we have it now, the wheel with no timer. The interrupts are enough.

How could rumours mislead people? When they have been labeled as rumours. Listing counter-rumours makes no sense 'There will be no MP in ME3' and right after it 'There will be MP in ME3.'Lumikki wrote...

If you are implying that a mod somehow confusing the definition of fact and rumour is the reason why this thread got unstickied, then a PM from him/her would be very helpful.
Anyhow, I'll be probably be changing the format of the OP tonight. Any suggestions before I do that?

That's a pretty decent OP, Phaedon. Any particular reason to do this if You don't mind me asking?

I'm guessing it has to do with gameplay and/or combat, since she's the one responsible for that aspect of the game.I wanted to fix something in me1 but didn't have time. Same thing in me2. Fixed it today in me3, squeeze!

If rumor isn't anymore valid, like it's old or isn't anymore true, then it's misleading. Is it in this case, I don't know, but when there is also rumor that ME3 will be single player game. It lower the value of MP rumor. There wasn't real good base for MP rumor anyway, because MP was not connected to ME3 anyway, it was based pure assumptions. Now how moderators telling as the game is single player is any better? It isn't, but those two are conflict rumors.Phaedon wrote...

I did not try to do implying anything. But they don't drop from sticky without reasons. Like oops, wrong buttom. They may have droped it just because thye want to keep only relevat stuff in sticky. Who knows..If you are implying that a mod somehow confusing the definition of fact and rumour is the reason why this thread got unstickied, then a PM from him/her would be very helpful.
How to change it, no idea. I don't much like when there is two totally opposite rumors for same thing and none of them is any more valid than other. I would drop it from rumors totally.Anyhow, I'll be probably be changing the format of the OP tonight. Any suggestions before I do that?
In general it could be good idea, just collect all ME3 information to one post to make it more "important". Like example trailer links and so on... Basicly what new forum member should read first about ME3.
PS: Check the links, not all seem to work. [17] example did not work for me.

Actually, the rumour has never been denied by Bioware. The article that has been around for a few months is refering to a non-Bioware employee. I think that ME3 being a single player-only game is...the default. It's just a rumour with no evidence to support it, I don't see why I should delete it, even if there is another 'conflicting' rumour.Lumikki wrote...

I wouldn't get overexcited by this statement. Bioware tends to exaggerate a lot. She could be talking about a really tiny thingie.Fiery Phoenix wrote...
