One thing that I do hope is that the RPG elements don't bog down the game like the first one. Mass Effect 2 was the perfect blend IMO.

I really hope that too, they made a terrific job with mass effect 1 without feedback, but they really passed the mark with mass effect 2 combat system, i just hope that Mass effect 3 has the same type of gameplay, just pray...

The systems in ME1 were far from perfect, and they definitely needed to be adjusted, but I think they went too far in ME2 in gutting all the RPG elements.  Three things specifically:  1) I want to be able to change my squadmates' armor, 2) I want the weapons to have actual numerical stats associated with them, rather than vague verbal descriptions, so I can figure out which gun is better, and 3) a deeper experience/level system.

Also, for the love of god, get rid of that horrible "Mission Complete" screen.  It's jarring and completely throws the player out of the experience.

The publisher confirmed to the media it will host an unveil event for the game on Mar. 1, 2011, taking place during the week of the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Additionally, EA says it will also have new game announcements as well as hands-on time with many upcoming titles, including: Shadows of the Damned, Alice Madness Returns, Kingdom of Amalur: Reckoning, and Crysis 2.

Those who purchased the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor this past fall received an invitation to the Battlefield 3 beta. Details about the beta's release date have not been announced.

Battlefield 3 is expected to ship in 2011.

(ME3 is technically an EA game)

Looks like ME3 will probably be revealed tomorrow.

They are irrelevant to game presentations, as they are not Bioware/EA-exclusive.

That I can agree with.  And I don't need those things I mentioned to be as deep/complicated as ME1 or DA:O or anything, but I'd like there to be more to them than there was in ME2.  But from what I hear that's the direction they're moving with ME3, so that makes me happy.

What do you mean revealed? We already know it's there.

Yup, it appears EA has quite a few titles for tomorrow. Hopefully ME3 is on the list, although I wouldn't be surprised if not.
