Cover eh? Let's hope it's as good as ME1's. That was probably one of the few things I prefered about the first one.Phaedon wrote...

I noticed right under Dev Promises you have:
"ME3 to [6]"
where the link is broken
Just letting you know

i do hope miranda lawson comes back with yvonne!!!!!
She better!!!!!!! If I have to have my much hated ex, Ashley Williams on my squad, but not my current love and most used squadmate from ME2, Im gonna be outraged. Im confident she'll be back right where I want her. Same with Tali. After reading the Game Informer scans I'm pretty sure every survivng squadmate from ME2 will be back in ME3, with mostly all of them playable on the squad, even if only for specific missions. but seriously Miranda better be a full time squad mate and have lots of private chat conversations with Shepard.

It means cover of GI May issue. You can click on it.
You don't know if it is the actual cover of ME3, why else would they have tomorrows date listed if it wasn't a reveal of some kind?
I'm betting on the cover.

That repeated meleeing gets old, but it's always fun getting TO the enemy, before that point, isn't it? It's fun using Adrenaline Rush to sprint uptto and sock enemies. What I was missing most, was a special Melee attack for the Infiltrator, as I prefer attacking up close, followed by shooting diagonally around corners.FYI:(Infiltrator+shotgun as it is in ME2, + Infiltrator specific melee attack will = PURE PWNAGE!)...
OMG what will the Engineer's Melee attack be like?? I've laughed so much from hearing enemies gibber as they burn, "wooooooooOOOOOOooaa! WooooaaaaAooAAhh-*THOOM!*" Please, please, combat designers: Let us taser lots of enemies in ME3 as an Engineer?! Maybe enemy Mercenaries can cry out "DON'T TASE ME BRO, DON'T TASE ME!!!!"?

I just read that each class has a unique close quarters combat attack!! That is EXACTLY what I've been thinking ME2 needed, after playing with each class.
I actually would have preferred class specific interrupts. Being an Adept in LotsB was so annoying since you had to stood by and watch everyone do fancy stuff with their biotics...
Speaking of interrupts: Offering the choice between paragon and renegade interrupt would be a nice smooth way to implement timed decisions I think. Just a though Bioware
PS:
The takedown thing sounds still cool btw
Guess we'll flare people alive with our minds ourselves this time

From what I saw from leaked information, it looks to be even better from ME2!

It's supposed to say that ME3 will maximize market success with production values or something like that, I'll add it later.g54 wrote...

Any thoughts? Should this be added?JKoopman wrote...
FYI there's a picture in the article of Shepard holding the Mattock Heavy Rifle, so it may as well be confirmed as being included in your armory in ME3.

That's what Ive been saying for a while now. Instead of just having a Paragon or Renegade interrupt depending on the scenario, have both options flash up on screen so that if gives you (more) control over how your paragon/renegade character reacts to the given situation.

Yeah, let's see this cover reveal.
It'll be there for two months, we'll complain complain complain.
Then they'll change it, and we'll complain even more.
EDIT: I liked the first ME2 cover, I had no idea why they changed it, and I am looking forward to the ME3 cover, Earth has to be featured.
Isnt that the way most things go on this forum?

It could be just a placeholder for some other rifle in the concepts. I wouldn't jump to conclusions, myself.

I'm pretty sure the reason why Cerberus is hunting down Shepard is explained in the ME Evolution comic.
*** Spoiler Alert ****
TIM is infused with reaper tech, so I guess that while he has not been "activated" until now, the reapers have got a hold of him and using his hate on Shepard (due to the ending of ME2 where he quit Cerberus) and control him.
What do you think?

Im with that idea up until the last bit. Not everyone destroyed the base and "quit" cerberus at the end of ME2. I have 3 data files atm where I kept the base and didnt "quit" cerberus. I do agree with the general idea of the bit with TIM though, just not the last part.

Tomorrow then, okay.
Bioware is making my year (again).
Probably just a cover with Femshep on it. Seriously, if you look at the general "muscle tone/size" of the leg there, it looks very (at least to me) very feminine. If Im right, someone needs to make me some cookies (I prefer macadamian nut if you dont mind).
Ive never been able to play a femshep honestly. Not because of something so shallow as (only) basing it on gender. But because for me, when I play a character, I need to be able to "relate" to it on some level. And for me, seeing as how Im not a woman (at least last I checked lol) it's kind of hard for me to "relate" to playing a female. Take that and also the fact that if I "tried" to play a female character, I'd be more focused on watching her bum bum and end up dead very often in combat because of it.
that looks much more like shepard's hand than leg, look at the original pic
You're probably right now that you mention it. Just me trying to be optimistic for the female player base I guess lol
Looking at it again, I know you are. It's essentially a "mirrored" image of the GI cover lol.
Edit: Yea, that's definately a leg though. I have the GI cover as my desktop background and the section there is definately from the "leg" armor. Of that Im 100% certain.

you won't see femshep used in marketing - that's what defaultshep was created for. great image, could use as a blog background quite easily.

Even if you didn't destroy the collector base and gave it to TIM, then Shep still quits Cerberus.
And even if my memory confuses me, the fact that TIM now has direct access with Reaper tech, well - that's even a stronger element which the Reapers can control TIM.

Really? because to my knowledge the only way that you "Quit" is if you select the response of "Joker, lose this channel" otherwise, it's still assumed you're on board with Cerberus.
