I've read the article too.
I'm pretty sure the reason why Cerberus is hunting down Shepard is explained in the ME Evolution comic.

*** Spoiler Alert ****

TIM is infused with reaper tech, so I guess that while he has not been "activated" until now, the reapers have got a hold of him and using his hate on Shepard (due to the ending of ME2 where he quit Cerberus) and control him.

What do you think?

Im with that idea up until the last bit.  Not everyone destroyed the base and "quit" cerberus at the end of ME2.  I have 3 data files atm where I kept the base and didnt "quit" cerberus.   I do agree with the general idea of the bit with TIM though, just not the last part.

Even if you didn't destroy the collector base and gave it to TIM, then  Shep still quits Cerberus.
And even if my memory confuses me, the fact that TIM now has direct access with Reaper tech, well - that's even a stronger element which the Reapers can control TIM.

Really? because to my knowledge the only way that you "Quit" is if you select the response of "Joker, lose this channel" otherwise, it's still assumed you're on board with Cerberus.

If I'm not mistaken, after the mission you have a holographic conference with TIM and Shep pretty much tells him something like that...

But only if you select the "paragon" response.  Believe it or not, not everyone selects that option ;)

I see...
OK.
But still, I guess that in that case, being around Reaper tech can take TIM further into the Reaper's grasp and control.

@Tosh - Which is the point I agree with :). That regardless of your "relationship" with Cerberus at the end of ME2, the Reapers are probably going to be behind the reason why they want to kill you. ESPECIALLY if you handed the base over. Which will actually make it even easier to explain.

er, if you select the renegade option you tell him to "get in line or step aside", so you still quit, either way.

No jokes, I actually trembled a little bit with glee.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know the source for this story information?
"The Salarians are debating over the genophage in Shur'Kesh"

Edit: I never saw what the S meant, how ever where is the source for the comment about Salarians...?

It's in the GI article.

"For example, Shepard visits the Salarian homeworld in search of allies, finding it consumed in a conflict relating to the Krogan genophage (a concept introduced back at the first game and revisited in the second)."

Well with one Renegade response you tell TiM straight up you're leading the fight against the Reapers and if TiM can "keep up" great - if he can't well sucks to be TiM.

If this ain't quittin' Cerberus is sure as heck is tellin' TiM he ain't the boss anymore.

Another feature is that there will be multiple endings depending on who you made survive the first two games; that means I should get a diffrent ME3 ending for each of the 11 (and still playing) imported acounts with variouse ME2 endings (9 on XBOX360, 2+ on PS3):o

Okay, everyone a suggestion:
Since videos and especially screenshots will be difficult to manage, I suggest setting two blogs which I will edit and link them here.

Also, I suggest dropping the Popular Rumours section and adding a new one, like Confirmed Characters, or Weapons.

Thoughts?

It's not quitting essentially and is almost precisely how you've put it.  Basically, it's a "If you can keep up with me, we can still work together.  If not, I'll do this without you." scenario.

About which part? I really don't think I can manage adding all of these images, even if they are thumbnails.

If you think it would be easier for videos and screenshots than ok but characters are part of the story so you could make subgroup of story and weapons subgroup of gameplay. You could drop rumors and place "interesting hints" or "things to note" or something instead.

Also enemies will try to flank you and suppress you while husks go and rush at you while you're in cover.

That's an interesting suggestion.

Hmm, "the AI will be more advanced" under Dev Promises?

Wish we could get an improvement in companion AI.  As it stands, your teammates are pretty stupid when left to their own devices lol

The Cerberus thing /is/ weird. I mean, there's a war against the Reapers and Tims main priority is killing Shepard? I don't care how much he hates Shep, those are some really whacked priorities.
