Holidays 2011, actually.

Will you, as in the DA2 thread, summarize the news at the top of the thread as new items get confirmed? Not recessary now of course, but the list will grow

Regarding the Brits' use of medi-gel, is it like BioWare to reveal features in a trailer?  To me, it seemed more for the dramatic effect.  This guy is desperate, he's used a couple of these things already, and was probably killed shortly thereafter.

I think that you can add "The british sniper VO is Sean Bean" to the rumor section.

Confirmed: Simon Pegg is NOT the Brit in the trailer: twitter.com/#!/simonpegg/status/13810094806405121

It's a bit trivial, but hey, it's information.

ME2 Spoiler???

"The ending in which Shepard is killed represents a permanent death for the character in terms of the story, rather than a death in which the player may simply reload from a previously saved game after making a mistake in combat. In that scenario, the character from that play-through cannot be imported into Mass Effect 3; players would have to either use a different save file in which Shepard survived or start a brand new Commander Shepard.[41]"

tl;dr: If Shep dies at the end of ME2, it's the end of the story.

I say this just because a lot of people seem to have missed this fact and imagine a new character for ME3.

Yes, that info was revealed long before Mass Effect 2 came out and many people missed it. A little surprising since it even says so in one of the loading screens.

You know, that's all well and good, but some folks won't realize it until they try and LOAD their dead Shepard playthrough. Image IPB

'OMG BIOWARE MY IMPORT DOESN'T WORK'

I'd get behind adding this to the OP, just to clear the air.

What the hell does 'Holidays 2011" mean?

Which holidays?  Easter?  Spring break?  Xmas?  It's irritatingly vague.

Anytime between Thanksgiving 2011 (3rd Thursday of November), and New Years Eve 2011/Day 2012.

Thanks Cobalt and kill switch, I was aware of the import thing, but not about the multiplatform release. Added on credits list.

As for holidays= November/December 2011

 Thanks. :)

There are some formatting errors in the OP. Every time I edit it, it just breaks a bit more. I have concluded that the only way to have a clean OP is to have a .txt backup that gets updated along with the actual OP. I'll work on it tomorrow.

No problem TC, thanks for putting this whole thing together.

Quick question in advance, not sure if any of you know: Are magazine scans permitted, or are they a no-no?

I am not really sure yet. Perhaps a mod would know if it's OK. I'll PM one tomorrow.
